@cobito I don't know if it happens to other users, but in firefox it's impossible for me to reply. With edge it works.
-
@kynes How strange. I only use Firefox and I have no problems. If anyone else has problems, please speak up.
Have you tried in a private window? Just in case it's something weird in the cache, a cookie, or something like that.
As of April 28th, it's fixed

This response post is for testing.
It seems to work for me, from Firefox...
-
@kynes Firefox on Android, Windows or Linux?
Me, using Firefox/Win has never given me problems

It's strange, I go into private window and no problems. I go back to the normal window and the quote and reply window works once, the second time I want to reply or quote it doesn't work anymore.
I disable all extensions and it still fails. It seems to be my installation.
Firefox + Windows. It's a Windows 7 installation updated to 8 updated to 10, and Windows 10 with three laptop changes, which I've been dragging around for eons and it fails more than a carnival shotgun, but I have endless laziness to install everything from scratch.

You should have also gone through Windows 8.1 and ended up in Windows 11
The truth is that it's very lazy to install everything but the problems that are solved jejeje.Hugs!!
P.D: But yes, getting to install everything is very lazy and you end up doing it when you have no other choice....until then we hold on as we can xD

I did go through 8.1, and the intention was to upgrade to 11, but it tells me no way, and it also doesn't update the big patches, only small things. Apparently the update database is corrupt, and there's no solution, or I can't find it.
I'm migrating little by little to 11, I have a program that copies complete profiles, with the settings of the programs and everything, but you have to install all the programs first before you can migrate the settings. A curious little job.

@cobito I'm an idiot, in the end it was only a firefox pop-up blocker, I had enabled it for hardlimit.com but not for foro.hardlimit.com
You should have a prize for the most clueless for these cases

Nothing, false alarm, it's still the same. I'm doubly an idiot, I still don't know what causes the failure in my firefox.
-
@kynes Explain a concrete example that we can recreate to help you find the difference.
Salu2!
-
@fassou Let's see, if I clear all the browser data, it allows me to reply/quote/view notifications once. When replying, the second time it no longer allows me to do so. It's something that is stored in the cookie store or the files stored in the browser cache, which is not corrected even if I reset the browser to the default state. In the end, I almost always go into chrome if I want to reply.
-
@kynes Now it seems that after reinstalling everything in firefox it already works for me, who knows for how long. I have uninstalled all the extensions, the browser, I have deleted the profile... and when I install everything it seems to work. Who knows what I had touched and shouldn't have

I have sexual hands, everything I touch, I fuck it.

I separate the messages from the Post from the Weekly Summary so that it does not create confusion with the new Summaries that @cobito is publishing and so we can focus on the possible failures that @kynes is commenting on
Have you tried on a clean virtual machine? to confirm that it is a matter of your "veteran" installation of Windows?
Regards!
-
@fassou Thanks, and sorry for messing up the weekly summary post. For now it seems to be working well again, I wouldn't be surprised if it was some tampermonkey script that was causing trouble, but who knows.

And with "sexual hands" in addition

Especially that

Best regards!!
