Hello everyone, which computer do you recommend between these, what I want the most is that it doesn't get too hot underneath, I want it for watching movies, and for some of my tasks that don't consume much but anyway. The most complete quality price

I personally would go for the HP, for the processor and for the experience.
The Asus has better graphics but is a bit behind in performance and processor of course, although it is not something relevant.By the way, here is the cheapest HP with shipping costs than at FNAC
HP Pavilion g6-1140ss i5-2410M/4GB/500GB/15.6" LS278EA#ABE Laptop

So I thought the ASUS was way better, uffff now I was going to buy it today and now I don't know what to do.
It's that the HP is made of plastic, it seems like it will get hotter, I don't know... the Asus is like aluminum, more robust and I think it will get hotter less, the vents it has on the side are bigger.
By the way which one has a higher screen resolution?
Thank you very much, uff I want to buy it today, please I need opinions
Thank you very much
Looking at forums I saw this comment "In that HP you will be left with half the RAM because the other half, I think, will be taken by the graphics card. The Asus has a dedicated graphics card, so in that aspect it is superior.
The only thing that could be slightly inferior in the Asus is the processor, but I don't know to what extent, in my opinion not enough to pay 75€ more. Being the use so basic any of the two is fine, although I always recommend a dedicated VGA for the issue of not sharing memory or having at least power in case you put some game. The Core i5 2410M performs better than a Core i3 370M, but that difference will not be noticeable with the use you describe.

Note that the HP is not made of plastic, it has a plastic base with metal casings. The ASUS is exactly the same, moreover, if the base were made of metal in laptops, the heat would spread more due to the conductivity of the metal...
The screen resolution is the same on both: 1366 x 768
The HP is not going to be left with half the RAM because of the integrated graphics, it just has less performance in the graphics section but that doesn't mean that out of the 4gb it will consume 2gb directly because of the graphics. If anything, Windows 7 (which is on both laptops) will do that
It's a trade-off, the HP runs games by processor and pays for it in graphics, the ASUS runs those graphics better but is more limited in processor.
If you don't plan to use very powerful applications and are more concerned with graphic detail, watching videos and such, then get the ASUS. If on the other hand you intend to use applications that consume a lot of resources then choose the HP. My experience with the Pavilion has shown me that they are very fast and run high-performance applications in very low times. Until I checked it out on several models I didn't give a cent for HP, and look at me now...EDIT: Whichever one you buy, I recommend a cooling pad, they all end up getting hot from prolonged use.

It's a wash, the HP runs games by processor and pays for it in graphics, the ASUS runs those graphics better but is more limited in processor.
If you don't plan to use very powerful applications and you care more about graphic detail, watching videos and such, then get the ASUS.
