If but fjavi, how many of you have 3 monitors? very few people and the moment 4k becomes common there will also be more 4k than multiple monitors, for sure

They are not the majority but I know a lot more people with three monitors than with 4K, some people use three 1080p, others 1440p and some, the least, 1600p. In this same thread you have Ruruloko, Jotole, Xenxo_80, ELP3 also had it although he prefers his 1600p. I think I left out someone from the thread who also has 3 monitors. I don't know anyone with 4K and besides, if you have to play at 30fps it's not worth it, it's not just the price anymore.
I suppose that when K4 is more affordable, someone will set up three and the demand will always be increasing as new things come out.

By the way, does anyone know how to see the temps of the VRMs on the TITAN/GTX780? The new GPU-Z says it supports it, but it's not true, and HWB doesn't either..and it's very important if you're going to use this bios mod..
Regards.
I've tried with Aida 64, Openhardware monitor and it doesn't work either. From what I've been able to see by searching on the topic, temps from the VRMs aren't monitored with Nvidia since the 5 series…..........
That would be best, a direct probe to them once opened when cleaning/putting the blocks of RL..... I'll leave it in the back of my mind, in case I ever do it when opening it to clean the blocks...
Regards..

My opinion is that it's a big risk to think that the new generation will handle 4K resolutions. I believe that at least 2 more generations of cards are needed before we can say that they work properly with 4K resolutions and can be enjoyed at 100% of their total capacity. Of course, manufacturers need to make people think about 4K now and are naming it, referring to it to raise awareness and get people excited about its virtues, all except the economic ones, and encourage people to change their graphics cards to enjoy 4K, but the truth is that what we have today and the next generation still don't handle 4K decently yet.
Ruruloko, Xenso with the hydrocooper BIOS, the VRM temperature hardly rises and the performance does go up compared to the normal ones, which is why I recommended you to put it in and you don't have to keep playing with the EVGA precision. For now, when the prices of 4K become feasible, someone will fall for it here. I'm thinking about getting a panoramic 21:9 monitor just for fun to see how it feels in games. There are many games that I only use one monitor for, especially when playing online, and for those circumstances, I would like to have something like that.
Regarding the BIOS you posted, I had them installed but the problem is that my GPUs, two of them, have an ASIC below 70% and they weren't stable for benchmarking, but not suitable for 24/7. Currently, I have them with the Tech-Inferno BIOS, which have the turbo boost deactivated and the voltage raised to 1,212 Mv.Tomorrow I'll try to talk to Gustavo..he spoke well of me..;) and see what can be done about the issue..
Regards.
ELP3, are you going to liquid cool it??? Have you tried overclocking the Titans and got the bug XD.
Don't worry, I'll speak well of you and he'll attend you as if you were Jotole, thanks to him I'm getting a lot of help with my Mod.
Regards.

Ruruloko, but have you tried the ones from evga hydrocooper? I doubt they won't hold up
ELp the temperatures of the VRMs you want to see them, in Aida or does it matter how you see them? it's that maybe I can get you a script so you can see them, that is on a small screen. -

I would appreciate it if you uploaded it again and for now I will try it again when I can return.

With the release of the new Gtx 780 Ti on 7/11 for $699, I no longer want to build the Titan Sli
There is a drop in Gtx 770/780 that with 900€ I buy a Sli and it surpasses the Titan.
I will save that money for the next graphics card change since everything is going well with my current equipment.
I can tinker but I see a second Titan throwing €€€The techinferno bios for 24/7 in games is worth the change with a single titan
Thanks to everyone for your help!

With the release of the new Gtx 780 Ti on 11/7 for $699, I've lost interest in building a Titan Sli
There's a drop in the price of Gtx 770/780, so for €900 I can buy a Sli and it will outperform the Titan.
I'll save that money for the next graphics card change, as everything is going well with my current setup.
I can handle the tinkering, but I see myself spending €€€ on a second Titan. The techinferno bios for 24/7 gaming is worth the change with a single Titan

The truth is, it's a shame what Nvidia is doing, now they release the 780TI that practically surpasses or matches the Titan with a notable saving in price, but well, that's what there is and everyone who likes this world already knows it.
Regarding the bios, I would say that for a single Titan and I imagine you're at a resolution of 1920*1080, it's almost not feasible for you, now if you want to push the limits of your hardware like more than one and get that Fps or higher results in the Benchs, I would say do it. Another thing is the risk you take when flashing the bios, you can leave your gpu as a doormat, so be very careful.
Regards.

We already know that these of NVIDIA and computer science in 6 months is already dead. Like a car when you buy it is already worth 3000€ less minimum
Let's see if the market brings any surprises with discounts. We will be attentive
The resolution that I play is 6100x1080 (Mode corrected with Bezel) in Surround and the thing about doormat of almost 1000€ will not be worth it.Regards

It would be good to have them controlled, my intention is to keep them at 1300, and I would like to have that controlled.
And of course as I don't plan to change them for a long time, when it becomes necessary due to game demands I will join some sister to the couple. I get rid of one because it lowers the resolution of the surround and with two it goes very well. But I know that someday I will need some more.
Thanks in advance
A greeting

However, I'm going to be without them for a week...they have already gone with Gustavo to put together a massive custom RL for my use.

I didn't know you had a surround….. I would put a twin in it but it's like you explained before it's not worth it. I would say sell it and if possible get yourself a pair of GTX 780, TI.

Nvidia should have released the 780 at the same time as the Titan although I think they would have sold few Titans, anyway $699 seems like another robbery to me, I suppose they will refer to the 6GB one because otherwise it seems very expensive if the 780 goes down to $499 it seems like a much better option.
I would prefer a 780Ti of 3GB and at $599, it would be fair because that price here is 700€ and it will be another robbery.

I agree, besides I remember as if it were today that you told me to wait for the release of the 780 that it would be at peace with the Titan or at least it would be worth less, but the release of the 780s is not that they had an affordable price either.
They are being seen to go down on amazon and in German stores, now would be the time to acquire them.
What we have to take into account is those of us who use surround or multimonitor and want to apply filters are those 6Gb that will come in very handy. I remember that with the Hitman Absolution the Tri Sli 670 configuration was short of Vram, normal given that now with the Titans it consumes around 5.2GB.regards.

That's what I'm thinking but selling the Titan bothers me it only has 7 months of use.
I'll wait to see if there's any offer clearing stock or a second-hand one later.
It's more than enough now with everything and really these from Nvidia …..Regards

I remember when I told you to wait, to me these graphics seem very good but they have gone 7 towns over with the prices, they shouldn't have released a Titan, they should have called it 780 and had 3 and 6gb, many of you have paid for the DP that you won't use, I prefer that they disable it and cost €350 less.
I will probably get the 780 now, maybe I'll add a second soon because at €449 it seems like a very good buy

I think it's the best thing you do, selling it would only serve to lose money with it and leave you with less performance than you have.

This Saturday I was about to buy an Evga Titan for 900€, but I regretted it. It hurts that they don't go down compared to the performance of the 780 and 780 Ti
In the end I will wait a while to see how the market stays, but if another Titan is going to fall. The tinkering gets to me.Thanks for your help
Pd: I imagine those of us who have a Titan/780 this last price drop doesn't feel good at all and it's strange on the part of Nvidia, these from Amd have hit hard.
