Prefixes in titles

I thought it might be interesting to add a prefix to the thread titles giving basic information like manufacturer, model and things like that.

I applied the idea to the latest threads in the Processors forum. Take a look and vote if you like the idea or not.

I like the idea, it could also be used to differentiate between different types of threads (guides, questions, etc...)

I see it as a bit redundant, since the processor nomenclatures are very different between the two brands.
I think it would be more appropriate to develop it in subforums, AMD boards/Intel boards and the same with processors.
I know I'm a pain, but that's just how my mother gave birth to me. :ugly:

The idea seems very good to me because it allows you to see what the topic is about before entering to read it.
However, I wonder if this could be the first step towards a general tagging of topics that could be applied to topic searching.
For example, if I want to find topics related to HDD, beyond going to search in the disk subforum, typing HDD in the forum search engine and having the tags with that term appear.

Can you elaborate a bit more on your idea? I think I don't understand it.

Are you referring to the "Find Threads with Prefix" field of the advanced search?
