I love these kind of articles. The 90s and 2000s were a very exciting time in computing, and we don't really realize the enormous advances we've experienced.

Now to clean the heatsink you have to disassemble the whole thing.That's why whenever I've had to buy or recommend a laptop, I first check that they are easy to open, and that you don't have to disassemble the keyboard to access the heatsink. Once I had to clean a netbook that you had to have two engineering degrees to be able to get your hands on, one to disassemble it and another to reassemble it.

@kynes If only it was just cleaning the heatsink... when I see that I have to disassemble the entire laptop (starting with the keyboard) to change a disk, I get really annoyed...
