Doubts ram & motherboard for ryzen 2600 (oc)
-
Well, good people, in the end I will change teams

I got a box, but it arrived broken.
I bought the graphics card, but when I play, it makes strange noises, and on my brother's PC it works fine...
I feel bad for not being able to show anything yet  For now, I have picked up a motherboard for the current PC, and I will switch to the red team for my main PC.I have also based myself on the post of @rul3s since he was thinking of something similar (prices 23 January):
159€ Ryzen 2600 (or pccomponentes with The Division 2)
135€ MSI Gaming Pro Carbon vs 130€ Gigabyte AORUS X470 Ultra gaming
60€ Noctua NH-U12SFor the motherboard, I was looking at a very interesting list where the 450/470 motherboards are categorized according to the quality and cooling of their VRMs, and the MSI Carbon (recommended by @Obione) is slightly above the AORUS Ultra, but in the same tier:
Excel table with "tiers" of motherboards
Origin of the table on Reddit by the user Cr1318Any issues regarding the cooler? Would you go for the Dark Base Pro 4?
Extensive comparison of coolers on nikktechFinally, the RAM is giving me a headache, I was thinking 2x8GB @ 3200mhz CL15/CL16 (Samsung B-die), because it seems to me the "sweet spot" of price/performance, although I have not seen dual rank models when I have looked for them... I will update the post tomorrow with RAM models because it has gotten a bit late :S
Thanks in advance!

Hello @istarionn!
Regarding the motherboard, don't hesitate, go straight for the MSI, you have the "cheap" x470 Gaming Plus for €139, the Gaming PRO, discard it, as it's €15 more for having the "protector" for the connection area.
Then another very interesting option is the Gaming Pro Carbon, which is already a higher level motherboard, but you have a refurbished one on amazon for €166, which is a very good option.
I got the Gigabyte x470 ultra gaming and I have made a return (today they are picking it up) because there was no way to do the 3200 CL14 in any way, and reading in other forums I found another user with the same problem, he changed to the MSI, and it was working from minute 1. Now I am waiting for the MSI that I have recommended to you to arrive, also refurbished from amazon. As soon as I have everything well assembled and with OC and other things, I will make a post explaining everything, but since the topic has come up, I will tell you about it first jejeje.
Best regards!

Noctua is good but not cheap. If the case is wide you shouldn't have problems with this Macho x2: https://www.amazon.es/Thermalright-Macho-Procesador-Enfriador-Ventilador/dp/B00ZGDWUO0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1548346589&sr=8-1&keywords=thermalright
That beast performs similar to an NH-D14. You would have to order the mounting, for free by presenting an invoice (info@thermalright.de)
If you want B-Die you can go for FlareX or other CL14 models (CL15/16 3200 it's rare that they are B-Die) like the Trident, always with an eye on the product number. However, costing twice as much as some Aegis 3000 I would go for the latter.
If you're not too keen on the X, it will give you more life to play. With the 2600 you'll stay at 3.9 or 4GHz, with the X and a good heatsink you'll have higher frequencies for turbo in some cores, which will make you scratch some frames. Especially interesting if you want to stretch the micro until the 7nm revision and even more so if you don't plan to change it. If you plan to jump quickly to the next generation, go for the 2600 without a doubt.
PD: You can also take a chance with some FlareX 2400, they could go up a lot. If they don't perform well you can always return them.

@rul3s
Vale pues la MSI X470 Gaming Plus, ¡adjudicada!
Me plantearía reacondicionado si no tuviera tan mala suerte, si ya lo nuevo me viene roto...
@Obione
169€ - G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3600 (hynix)
176€ - G.Skill Ripjaws 16GB DDR4 3200 (hynix)Creo que me voy a pedir las trident z, con lo que me quedaria lo siguiente:
168€ Ryzen 2600
139€ MSI X470 Gaming Plus
57€ Thermalright Macho X2
169€ G.Skill Trident Z@_Neptunno_ vamos a hacer un imperio de ryzens 2600

¡Muchas gracias muchachos!

I messed up a little, because the Trident Z from pccomponentes are no longer available. Well, it seems like they are like another product that costs 20€ more
But I looked around on Amazon and it seems like there are some pretty interesting things:
167€ G.Skill DDR4 3600 CL19 (hinix!)(b die)
177€ G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 (hinix!)(b die)
188€ Hyper X Predator 3600 (b die!)(?)I think I'll get the G.Skill, which compared to the rest are pretty well priced

WATCH OUT! The ones you're putting are almost certainly not B-Die... The B-Die are 3200CL14 or 3600CL16 as a general rule, anything worse is usually not B-Die.
Even so, use this to know for sure if they are or not!

Indeed I just checked it and none of those are B-Die...
These for example, if they are https://www.pccomponentes.com/gskill-ripjaws-v-black-ddr4-3600-pc4-28800-16gb-2x8gb-cl17The rule is:
3200CL14 -> Bdie
3600CL16-> Bdie
3600CL-17-> many chances of being B-die.The CHEAPEST thing in BDie right now is the KFA2 that I put, which is at €220 on coolmod
https://www.coolmod.com/kfa2-hof-hall-of-fame-16gb-2x8gb-4000-mhz-pc4-32000-cl19-memoria-ddr4-precio?virtuemart_category_id=12Otherwise, go for a 3000CL15 which will be the best, only that with a little OC you can set them to 2933CL14 and they will work very very well, which is how I have it now until they change the motherboard and as I told you, from 132000 points in realbench in all stock to 150000 points by setting them to 2933 and adjusting the latencies to CL14.
Best regards.

And I correct myself once again, these are indeed B-Die, they are available and for 190€
Gskill Ripjaws V 3600 CL17
https://www.coolmod.com/gskill-ripjaws-v-black-16gb-2x8gb-3600-mhz-pc4-28800-cl17-memoria-ddr4-precioAmazon for 186€ https://www.amazon.es/G-Skill-Ripjaws-Black-3600MHz-PC4-28800/dp/B017WSND7O
Alternate (24h) for 184€ https://www.alternate.es/html/product/1236468?gclid=Cj0KCQiA4aXiBRCRARIsAMBZGz8cmh9BV53RvwwdolFaGHsGgLd-7fDiv28okDwkWdvtwPtR3xrWk2kaAji5EALw_wcB
Now yes, I'm going for the Bdie!!!

All the reason in the world, which bad

Thank you very much! It's a mess, there are other memories that can come from 3 types of dies of memory...
I will edit the posts so as not to confuse anyone!

Well, I've corrected the lists, this one, which was the only one I wasn't sure if it was a b die, it is also!
€183 HyperX Predator 16GB 3600MHz Model: HX436C17PB3K2/16
I couldn't find much information, the reviews are with other test equipment and sometimes other memory capacities... The one I like the most is the G.Skill Rpijaws Black 3600Mhz, I think it will be the one I buy

In the end, my equipment would be like this:
€168 Ryzen 2600
€139 MSI X470 Gaming Plus
€186 G.Skill Ripjaws Black VRegarding the fan, I'm a bit worried about the size, do you think it might cause problems?
I also found this version of the Thermalright Macho Rev. B with 1 fan for Ryzen (and two fan mounts).
Some user complained that the mounts for AM4 were difficult to adjust, but I don't know if it's true. Also, this version would prevent using the fan on an intel processor:
€57 Thermalright ARO-M14O
€45! (+€9 shipping) Thermalright ARO-M14G@Rul3s, how do you like the Noctua NH-12? It was my first option, lightweight, no problems with RAM / VRMs and it performs quite decently, but it would be good if you give me your feedback. In the first review they appear similar (which surprises me), in the second the numbers seem more logical:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?296242-Thermalright-ARO-M14Genial! Pero esas memorias bajalas a 3200 y usa CL14, que es lo mejor para Ryzen, cito textualmente
[quote]
The verdict: tighter timings won. DDR4-3200 with aggressive timing adjustments outperformed the looser timings needed to hit DDR4-3520, while 3466 clearly split the difference with the right balance of timings and frequency.

Thank you very much for the help guys!
The bug has been fixed like this:Ryzen 2600
MSI X470 Gaming Plus
G.Skill Ripjaws Black V 16GB 3600Mhz
Thermalright ARO-M14OI can't wait for it to arrive
