You already had me worried that you weren't updating the Mod ? I hope it's for work reasons.....

Is that radiator I see in the image a Black Ice?? You did very well in changing the Xeon for the 2500, to have it plugged in all day it's better to have something of those specs.

Lately I've been seeing many computers with the R.L tanks on the right side of the case in a vertical area, and the truth is it's scary. What a lot of memory you've put in.......;D;D

What a beast of a "terabyte" 14 and still with the possibility of adding a few more..... I don't rule out doing something similar someday when I get the hunch.

I'll follow you closely to see how this Corsair Nas is evolving.

    A hug.

This also looks good, although, equally, the dates we are in and the fact that there is no commercial product detract from its appeal.
It is a project developed at the University of North Carolina (then we are surprised that everything is in English) by Dr. Jag Kasichainula, about a CPU heatsink made from copper and graphene.

    ...bidi bibadi bibú...

Edit: It seems that the "pro" version of this is already being used to play with airplanes. Let's see when they allow the rest of us to use it to play too, our games don't :mudo: anyone.

Well I am pleased to announce that this project has come to an end before it even began…............ :ugly:

And I say I am pleased because a tower that will cure my hiccups has fallen into my hands, so I will set up the Server in it. A Corsair 900D.

I will create a thread from scratch with it and so we won't be confusing the title....... I'll see you there......... ?

    Regards...........

Well, after almost two months, the guys at PCBox have finally brought me the H60, and luckily they respected the price, because it has gone up to more than 80€.

    My impressions:

    Performance

Well, with an i3, don't expect it to be a stove, but here are the screenshots, first at idle and then full.

The fan is set practically to the minimum from the BIOS, and the pump at full speed. I'm not sure if it's advisable to regulate the pump or keep it at maximum always. I say this because it might be bad for it or something like that, because in terms of performance and noise it's good.

The room will be around 25ºC if it reaches that, but we're not going to get too hot even in the middle of summer at around 30ºC that it can be here.

    Sound

Well, the first test was very disappointing, I didn't notice much improvement over the normal heatsink and that's low profile. The fault lies with the fan that comes, and more if it's at full speed, but even at minimum it doesn't sound good, although perhaps it's that it didn't come properly. I put the one that came with the box, a Silverstone and there's no comparison. This bucket hasn't been this quiet for a long time, since I had the E5300 with a Scythe Shuriken B that didn't work for the i3 because of size and the placement of the socket next to the graphics card.

    Assembly

Simple, more than most heatsinks... except that I have a very small case and the tubes aren't very flexible.

Yesterday I assembled everything in a configuration that I thought was good, although one of the elbows was hitting the graphics card a little. I went to turn it on and after a few seconds I lost video. I noticed that the part where the elbow of the tube hits the graphics card is where the card has one of the screws to fix the heatsink, which goes with a spring, so when you press it the heatsink stops making contact with the GPU.

Today I spent some time looking at similar assemblies on the internet, and finally I found a less forced position, I'll show you the photos in the branch of 'Photos of our PCs'.

And that's all. It will have to stay like this for a season, at least until after Christmas, because I had a car breakdown that cost me a lot. Maybe later I'll get an i5, although I don't need it, but you know how this goes ;D.

    @Obione:

I'm the same, I've reinstalled rFactor and it's a good balls move to configure each mod xD

It's what we have to do..... the funniest thing is that I search for configurations on google and I put them in and none of them work well, I don't know how they can play with those settings XD.

Well, let's take a good break until we leave it to its rightful place.......

    Regards.

Hello guys, mama mia, yesterday I was still tinkering with the pc. I had a problem with the windows7 firewall that was holding back the connection. Today it's almost finished, I still have to put in the usb cables from the case, the audio and stuff... and the covers.

Honestly? the best 26€ I've spent, after the ram. Despite not having put the thermal paste with much care, and putting the one that came with the cooler master because the store didn't have another.....
    these were the results
this image is in stock mode, then you'll see, energy saving and oc at 5%

You can see that I've lowered an average of 20..20 and a bit degrees, however in idle only 10

I have also looked into these kits because of the space issue with high profile memory.

Initially I thought about putting the Noctua NH-U9B or the Noctua NH-U12P in it and removing the fan that is next to the memory so that it does not touch the ram heatsinks.

Regarding the kit, I have read that having to leave the radiator inside the pc generates too much heat inside the pc…
Then I have also read this, which as I have never used RL I do not know if it is true: Aluminum radiator and copper CPU block, those of us who use RL know that this union causes a galvanic reaction that decomposes the aluminum and this decomposition galvanizes the copper with that aluminum (that is, it clogs the cpu block).

@CIPOTRON: Muchas gracias…

;). Un Saludo...

Hello, I called the store where I was going to buy it and I told them when they were going to receive it, they made me wait a moment and I was able to order it, apparently it was a fault on the page that said they didn't have it.

Document a little bit the theme, so we can see that box you have, and how you want to put it.

It is always useful to be able to draw inspiration from others, for future projects.

Look, you're right about that. At first they sent me one and it arrived scratched from the shipping, but I told the seller and they sent me another after I sent them some photos. The problem was that the anchor screws for the fans were loose in a plastic bag and they had dented the metal and the fins. The surprise was that I expected them to exchange it for the defective one, but in the end I ended up with BOTH. (the second one was perfect because they put more effort into the packaging). The attention I received from the manufacturer was the best I've ever had and then with the detail of giving me the one that was scratched for free, I can't ask for more….

What I do advise is that you DON'T BUY anything on Tao-bao. I bought a case from the brand ORICO for a 2.5'' hard drive a month ago and it came without the original box and on top of that it burned out after fifteen days. I put in a complaint and I haven't received any response. I know it's a pain, but the worst part was that it was 23 euros and not 90 like you usually see on ebay and other stores. This huge discount was because on New Year the Chinese go all out when they have extra material to sell, the problem is that the greedy ones put it in Chinese and you don't understand a thing unless you have someone who can translate a little.
