I must be weird, I've never been particularly fond of the graphics in any game... I've always thought there's a lot of room for improvement and there's still a lot of room for it. What has happened to me many times is installing a game from years ago that I remembered better and saying, was it like this or is the cd broken?

That happened to me too, but I've always kept in mind that, within what's possible, they're graphics, not real life, so the idea quickly went out of my head and I thought again: "wow, how handsome he is" xDDD

And about reviving an old game and being disappointed, the opposite has happened to me... Playing NFS III on a Pentium MMX at 200Mhz and always seeing it pixelated. Giving up on the game after a long time, and remembering it when I already had the Athlon64, reinstalling it and saying: "wow, there were more resolutions and everything! What definition!!" :ugly: :ugly: :ugly: :ugly: :ugly:

I agree with Fassou that it is just a ball rolling down the hill taking advantage of the momentum of its SteamOS and derivatives.
If it ends up being true (stranger things have happened), then better for the most loyal fans. Personally, the second installment disappointed me so much that I feel ashamed of having spent the money, both for the terrible plot and for the implementation of that money-grubber called Steam, may it rot.

Joe, well I was one of those who hated Steam to death, but now I have discovered what it is like to have games at a price that doesn't make you want to complicate your life "searching" for them elsewhere.
I'm not saying I don't enjoy looking at my treasures in their little box... but being able to get a Bioshock Infinite + Mafia 2 for 9€ is a joy.

I'm one of those waiting like an idiot for HL3 to come out, jajaja. I suppose it would be a good push for their Steam Machine

I'll catch up on it to see how it is, but I'm starting to accumulate a lot of games without playing XD

@Tecnho: Yo por eso espero a que salga para pc o ps4, el 4 ya le intenté jugar en xbox360 y era injugable la consola no podía con ello sobre todo al conducir, a ver como sale. Es verdad que se nota mucho la diferencia de suavidad con un Pc, pero al final siempre me ocurre igual y no puedo aguantar, se comenta que sale en Noviembre para Pc, si eso es verdad ya me estoy arrepintiendo de haberlo comprado en consola. GTA V para PC aparece listado en algunas tiendas Yo tengo GTA IV y los episodios en Xbox y en la televisión pongo la XBOX y un Pc y las diferencias son abismales, eso que el Pc solo tiene una 470, parecen otros juegos y corriendo mucho mejor, no es solo la enorme diferencia en graficos y resolución. saludos

Possible solution.

To use DX11, you need to go to C:\\Users\\Your username\\My Documents\\Ubisoft\\Blacklist, open videoSetting inside it and modify the third line parameter WindowStyleFinal=1 to WindowStyleFinal=2, once that is done, run Blacklist_DX11_game.exe and the problem is solved to play in DX11.

I have not tried it yet, but I put it in case it serves someone, I will comment later on how it goes.

I have here the Sim Earth in a large cardboard box, two 3.5" double density floppy disks, several registration sheets, and two manuals, one exclusive for the Amiga of 15 pages and another general one of... ¡¡¡ 220 pages!!!, on top with a cardboard cover... those were other times (grandfather cebolleta mode).

well... well, the deal is over :cry:
conclusions:
it is... entertaining, the graphics are pretty good, the arsenal is varied, the vehicles are customizable.
weapons: pistols, 12mm shotguns, assault rifles, submachine guns, sniper rifles, RPGs etc.
vehicles: cars, motorcycles, trucks, helicopters, harrier-like planes, armored personnel carriers.
scenario: quite large, you can take some very entertaining "walks" ;D.
flaws: if you take the helicopter and go up to a skyscraper, with the sniper rifle cars and pedestrians disappear with the zoom :wall:
after a certain part of the game the army enters the city and it seems (too much) that the programmers liked the Crysis aesthetic :facepalm:
funny points: blowing the head off a police officer or another enemy with.... (how do I say this?) a metro pole about 5 feet long, purple and made of plastic is... :lol:
enemies: you can kill everyone (except your partners ;D) civilians, whores (the girls all walk around dressed as whores or old ladies) cops, mafia (rival gangs) and military, apart from some guys dressed up as animals.
freedom of play? well... you have some freedom but in the missions, on certain occasions you get lost or it prevents you from doing certain things (when I stole the harrier I wasn't allowed to put it in my helipad):cry:
recommendable: I would say yes, if you like BF3 it's your game, but in a rogue way, it has flaws but... they can be forgiven,
regards and sorry for the language but it's hard to comment on this game without that language :D.

the truth is that I don't like either steam or origin and the one who wants to pirate does it anyway, just like music that lately they put an anti-copy that serves no purpose and they ignore the right to private copying.

Downloading :troll: back then I was using a 486 SX at 25 and I couldn't even dream of installing the game. And then I was disconnected for a few years. It's about time to play it ;D

I'm happier with fxaa than with others, and it doesn't consume much. For the rest, I have maximum quality and vsync with triple buffer and it works perfectly

Pues tendremos que probar el juegecito, aunque el del 2009 no te creas que me convención mucho. Es verdad que tuve momentos que me pareció entretenido, pero no se que era que no acababa de engancharme y se me hizo largo y todo.
