Help problem with Asus P8P67 LE motherboard
-
vaya
both at the same time :D:D
you say you have connected the 4 pin connector but you have connected it completely (8 pins) as I can see your source has a 4 + 4 connector I suppose you have put both, right? -
vaya

well the only thing that comes to mind is that you try the components on another computer. I've tried to see if your motherboard supports them (which by default work better or worse) but I lack data so it's better if you check it
I'm sorry I can't be of more help :verguen: -
I think I've found the problem.
It may be due to the pins on the motherboard as I've been looking at the processor from the contact side and on most there is a dot in the middle of the pins on the board but there are a few where the pin mark is almost outside the processor contact.
How can a board come with the pins wrong? because it's impossible that I bent them when I put the micro in as it only has one correct position. Could this be why my PC won't boot?

Try to mount the board with the micro only (heatsink also obviously)
Without memory and without graphics, just board + micro. There it should already beep something…
Regarding the pins that you just commented... there have been cases of boards that have arrived from the store with bent/broken pins, they can be corrected manually if they are not broken, but it is best to contact the store so that they take action.

RMA strips and point that like straightening a pin you blow it up then you eat the board with potatoes and no salt :nono::nono:
and if it can be because of that the pc didn't start up

Indeed that's what it is, the only danger is that the same thing happens to him as to Rules when he tried to pull an RMA with the ASRock… :vayatela:
