I love this initiative!. I have a question, and I'm asking it publicly in case someone else has the same doubt. Does the default template display the user's nickname? On the cover page it doesn't seem to, but I'd like to make sure, mainly because depending on that I will choose the custom address.
-
@Yorus I think it depends on the theme you choose. The twenty thirteen theme (modified) is on the cover, which only shows the author's name if there is more than one author. If there is only one (like now), it doesn't appear. If you are the only one writing, you can force it to appear by creating a second user (and you may have to publish something with that user, even if it's a post with nothing).
-
I like the anonymity almost more, hehe. I'll take a look and let you know.
-
Well, I've had my blog for a couple of weeks now, although I've only had time to tinker with it a bit. @cobito, for installing another theme I imagine it would be a matter of looking for one so that you could install it later, right?
I encourage others to create one, I think there's no better place than here for a personal blog without many pretensions and also with the most select audience

-
@Yorus Registered users can send me the theme and I will install it. Veterans have a few weeks with administrative access, so you can install the themes yourself. If you are going to make modifications to the CSS code of themes provided by WP, you must indicate it because every time a theme is updated, the custom code is deleted.
-
Thanks Cobito, I hope I can finish it soon to my liking and start writing.
-
Well, I have already started. I will fine-tune little things but I have already put a simple theme that I like more and a couple of entries. For anyone who wants to take a look or comment:
-
I like the theme you have chosen: clean, simple and without distractions. I have already left you a comment

-
I like simple themes because they seem clearer to me and besides, I have suffered more than once from navigating with 3G (right now I do it from 4G which is better than the ADSL in my house although with a data limit) and although I will not receive a huge amount of visits, I want it to practically go unnoticed for the server.
-
I also really like the idea, I've sent you a private message!

I hope to be more consistent this time. I already have another post almost ready, but I want to make it look cooler. I will try not to go below one a week.

Hello, although the thread is very old, I tried to create a blog:
Apache/2.4.54 (Debian) Server at blogs.hardlimit.com Port 443I imagine that, like you, it is no longer active or I do not have access. The active part, I apologize, because I see Yorus's entries published.

@jordiqui To create a blog just tell me what you want it to be called and I will create it for you.

@cobito desvelemosafrica, tal cual. Gracias de antemano!
