Total or partial change? (updating myself)

Hello everyone, I have a dilemma and it is that I have my equipment composed of an ASROCK P67 PRO3 motherboard, OCZ ModXStream Pro power supply, 700W, 16 GB of GSKILL DDR3 memory at 1600Mhz, an i5 2500K processor at 3.7 Ghz, a GIGABYTE 760 GTX WINDFORCE OVERCLOD graphics card and to summarize my monitor an ASUS VX239H-W 23" LED IPS., CORSAIR GRAPHITE 600T WHITE case.
The thing is that I usually play well without stuttering in current games but the default automatic settings are usually medium-low and sometimes sometimes high with a range of frames between 35 and 40 (Farcry 5), and below 60 in many others. I am thinking of changing the processor, motherboard, ram and graphics card, for this I have seen a very modest budget in price but very good in performance for games and multimedia and they would be the following:
-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6GB GDDR5 (285€)
-MSI B360 Gaming Plus motherboard (85€)
-Intel Core i5-8400 2.8GHz BOX of eighth generation (234€)
-Kingston HyperX Predator DDR4 2666 2x8gb (150€)
For this I would have to save up for a few months to be able to get all the money or decide to buy only the graphics card at this time with my current components, which I have doubts because I don't know if I will get better results in games and later on buy the rest of the mentioned components.
Sorry for the long text but I couldn't summarize it more and I hope that those who are more understanding or in a similar situation to mine can advise me. Thanks in advance. -
In my humble opinion, it's a bad time to change because there are several upcoming releases (Ryzen 3000, GTX 2000,...) and everything is still quite expensive.
Save up for the platform change that you will have to make, and if you have a lot of extra money for a new graphics card, keep an eye out for the deals that are coming out these days to get a good deal, and take advantage of it for the new equipment when you change.
Goodbye!

Mr. @Fassou is absolutely right.
Moreover, you can still get a lot of performance out of that system by just putting a more powerful graphics card in it. It's a very similar setup to mine, and I'm thinking about picking up one of the deals that Mr. Fassou mentioned soon.Best regards!

Thanks Fassou, exactly the same thing a friend told me a few hours ago, although he also commented that the option of buying a Ryzen 5 2600 3.9 Ghz wouldn't be bad but the graphics cards are expensive, at least the Nvidia ones. I still remember about 6 years ago when I changed to the computer I have now and you gave me very good advice.

Thanks Sylver, well the truth is that my system is very, very similar, if not the same as yours.
What I do see is that you have it overclocked to 4.4 GHz if I'm not mistaken, my motherboard has a section to increase the frequency, but I'm not very familiar with how I should do it, but I would like to squeeze a little more out of my processor while waiting for something more updated to come out. And another question is what graphics card do you think would be a good option for the system I currently have to be able to migrate it to the new one? Something between 250 and 300€ to play comfortably the games of now and those that will come out throughout the year. Best regards -

Indeed, I have it at 4'4Ghz and it does them without problems. There are videos out there on how to configure the BIOS to overclock the 2500K, I'll leave you some:
Regarding the graphics, we recently talked about some very tempting offers for equipment like ours. We have a pretty decent processor that still supports current graphics giving very good performance.
Here are some examples: https://www.carrefour.es/componentes-gaming-tarjetas-graficas/N-lj2jihZfqkloe/c
I am very tempted to get one if the offers last until January.Best regards!

Thanks Sylver, last night I tried to overclock it from the BIOS of my Asrock P67 P3 motherboard and it has an overclocking section in which you can increase the frequency without having to manually adjust the voltage. I increased it to 4 GHz and I tested it with an external program on the desktop and it worked correctly. As for the link you sent me, it is very interesting, but the truth is that I am a bit lost with AMD graphics, I would have to look them up. I have been reading that the release of the Ryzen 3000 is pending, so I think I will get the graphics card first and then later in the year, depending on what comes out new and if I have some money, I will decide something...

Fassou I have a question, I saw this graphics card on promotion: gigabyte-radeon-rx-580-gaming-8g-8gb-gddr5 for 220€ and they give me 2 games.
Do you think that with the specifications of my equipment, especially the i5 2500k processor, I could have a bottleneck? Right now I have it overclocked to 4 Mhz with the possibility of a little more. If you could answer me I would appreciate it or if you think it's convenient to change this post to another more appropriate one. Thanks again -
@boncoe you also have the RX580 for 206€ at Coolmod, and although you would get more FPS with a more powerful computer, I don't think the investment is worth it.
Salu2!

As the graphics market is, I would consider the 570 8GB from Coolmod at 140€ and wait miles until something interesting comes out, by which time you will already have the Ryzen 2.

+a billion, I vote for this option too, although I would get the RX570 4GB OC version from asus that they had at GAME, if it's still available...

In the end I got the Gigabyte Rx 570 Gaming 4 Gb Bulk version from coolmod for 109€. The offer for the same version for 145€ ran out in less than a day, they literally flew away just like the one I bought. I sold my old windforce oc 760 GTX 2 gb for 55€ so this new one almost came out even. Thanks for all your advice.

Good change, when it arrives you will tell us if you are happy with the change!

Joe, it's a good deal for you because for just over €55 you've upgraded your GPU and you'll notice a performance increase, plus you have more memory

You'll let us know how it goes!

@ broncoe Look at the bios that comes with that graphics card, which according to what I read is for mining, and comes with the power limit capped at 90W because of the consumption issue. Vo that there is a bios that removes that limit and you gain quite a bit in oc, like 1400 on the core and 2000 on the memory.
Saludos

I don't know what Coolmod is doing, they are taking all the rx570 bulk off the market. But they still don't say that they are for mining. Curious. Today they released the offer for the 8gb rx570

I also read that, but I checked it on mine and everything was correct, so maybe initially they were for mining, but then they put normal bioses on them.
I am very happy with the 4GB one for 99€, a 10 out of 10 for coolmod for bringing us these offers. -
Well, for that price, seeing that they keep coming out with deals like this, you can put together a crossfire for 200€ matching the performance of a 1070, so I don't care if they're for mining. If that's the case, you change the bios and that's it. The complaint that many users had was because they didn't put it anywhere. But as I said, at that price give me two.

I didn't know they were dedicated to mining, I'm not an expert in the field either but I understand that the cards dedicated to mining are capped in power?
Another thing, how can I check what you're telling me about whether it's limited and be able to solve it in case it was as you say?
-
The GPU-Z marks it, and with the polaris bios editor you can raise the power limit so that the graphics card doesn't fall short. What happens with the mining ones is not so much the performance, but that when you take them to the limit, the led of the graphics card tells you that it doesn't get enough voltage. But like everything, if you touch what you shouldn't, you're left with a paperweight. But it can be fixed by plugging it into another pc and flashing it again. It's not complicated, and I've already had to do it when I put in modified BIOS for memory timings and other stories.
