13th Edition: What did you play in 2019?
-
This year I've indulged in some Battlefield 3 and OpenTTD, but not too much. As part of my new blog, I've also tried Terminal Velocity, Duke Nukem 3D, The Dig, Theme Hospital, Worms 2 and the demo of Diablo 1. I haven't spent much time on any of them except Theme Hospital, which I played a couple of times. To be honest, playing on a mid-90s laptop with an STN screen is getting a bit tedious.
Last year I don't think I played any new games. I've played some Counter Strike Source and a few months ago I stopped playing Cities Skylines, one of the games that has hooked me the most recently.
This year I hope to try a good number of titles from the past, although probably without going to the extreme of getting hooked on any of them.
-
I've mostly been playing Madden 19 and Borderlands the Pre Sequel and Borderlands 3
And I've accumulated all the games Epyc has given away and never played most of them

I do the same thing, but with those from GOG.com, what a library I have

Best regards!

I'm glad to see that there are still players in the forum, even if only to get some use out of the GPU

But I know that more people need to share their experiences, so come on!!In my case, I've played the following:
- Games I had started:
Lucius 1: I practically had 2-3 hours left to finish it.
Mirrors Edge Catalyst: I did the training and some of the first missions and it was almost complete to play. I had a good time, I must admit that I like the style of the game.
Metro LL(2034): I left it a long time ago and it was hard to pick it up again, but I wanted to finish it... and I only had 5-6 hours left.-Full game:
Lucius II: I got it this year on Steam during a sale and I had a good time despite its bugs!-Games I've tried for a few hours:
Far Cry 3: It looks like a great game and I hope to finish it this year.
GTA V: I tried the multiplayer and had a great time and played some of the story mode… it's a great game.-Author levels (Tomb Raider):
TRLEGold-Movie-Lara at the Movies: This level (more like a complete game with several levels) from 2004 is impressive and I enjoyed it a lot. In total, it was 21 hours on the game's scoreboard, but I easily dedicated more than 30… and I did it over several months, little by little.
BtB2015: I was able to play several levels of the back to basic 2015, but I still have a lot to finish.
Create a Classic 2019: I played about 7 levels, although I still have a few more... in total, there are 18. Especially this level, Hostile Waters based on Tomb Raider 2
Christmas levels 2019: As every year, enjoy a little Lara at Christmas :).-Multiplayer:
WOT: Of course, one of the games where I spend the most hours away from other games/addictions since 2013… about 2300 battles this year, although there may be more because the front line battles aren't counted.
Dead by light: Multiplayer that I had a good time with, although I'm not a fan of horror games, 70-80 hours last year but now it's over +100.
PUBG: I barely played, maybe a couple of games with Tecno in the summer.# Special mentions:
Minecraft: Every time I get around to playing it, I spend a few hours.
DCS World: I tried it, but it's one of the best combat aircraft simulators. In the end, it seems like I don't play anything, but I do spend hours… but my mountain of games just keeps growing, hahaha.
Also, between series, friendships and work... there's no room for more in the year.Regarding the Tomb Raider levels, I'll share some links with you.
# Lara at The Movies:
Lara at the Movies - 12 Monkeys
Lara at the Movies - Indiana Jones - Temple of Doom
Lara at the Movies - Stargate
Lara at the Movies - Hound of the Baskervilles
Lara at the Movies - Star Wars Episode 1
Lara at the Movies - The Movie Theatre
Lara at the Movies - Pirates of the Caribbean
Lara at the Movies - Alien Resurrection
Lara at the Movies - Blood from the Mummy's Tomb
Lara at the Movies - Jurassic Park
Lara at the Movies - The Blair Witch Project
Lara at the Movies - Psycho
Lara at the Movies - Rebecca
Lara at the Movies - The Treasure IslandI put the link in the first one, but really, all of them are in the game's package and the story is continued. Basically, you're in a cinema (which is another level and you have things to do) and you enter the movie theaters which are the different levels. It's from 2004 but it doesn't really affect the fact that you can enjoy it like a kid. Also, there are several video guides on YouTube, so if you get stuck, don't despair (there are also some annoying bugs).
# TRLE: You can find many more levels on this website.
Take care!!!

Best regards!

Saludos!
I updated my previous post regarding the author levels of TR, although now I'm adding a little something to it.
Regarding the "Create a Classic 2019 (CAC2019)" levels, these are the ones I've played out of the 18 that are available:
01.CAC2019-AbandonedCathedral
02.CAC2019-StrangeCatacombs
03.CAC2019-AllRoadsLeadToRome
04.CAC2019-GreenAdventure
05.CAC2019-HostileWaters
06.CAC2019-In the highlands
07.CAC2019-Baslakor-Legacy of the ScionIt's really a kind of contest/competition for level builders, there are various annual ones and it's great.
Also this year a BTB 2020 will come out with the theme of Tibet
Previous BTB (Back to Basics):
2018 Back to Basics Space
2016 Back to Basics Persia
2015 Back to Basics Greece
2014 Back to Basics Khmer Empire
2013 Back to Basics Northern Legends
2011 Back to Basics Steampunk
2010 Back to Basics Venice In this edition I discovered the BTB
2009 Back to Basics Classic
2008 Back to Basics Peru
2007 Back to Basics London
2006 Back to Basics Asia
2005 Back to Basics CatacombsPractically the BTBs were born to remember the classics (Tomb Raider 1 to 5, years 1996-2000) with the same themes in the levels created as seen in these classics. This is in addition to the fact that it's done as a contest for both builders and players, where initially you don't know who designed this or that level but at the end of the contest they are published and prizes/mentions are given, which gives it its charm and makes nostalgic people enjoy it

Lara at The Movies (which I finished last year) is the first of this series of contests, but with a very different concept since everything began in 2005 as it is currently known.
Well, I hope someone finds this "long" post useful, I let it loose xD
-
@_Neptunno_ Many thanks for the in-depth contribution!
My intention is to download all I can and make a collection (which I assume you already have, privately
)The thing is that I have my SSDs full, I have to get more storage...
Given the amount of time the contest you mentioned has, I know people who will miss me in the coming months, but hey, they are supposed to be rainy months, right?

Best regards!

Hello friends, I wanted to post but, I can't remember a damn thing from this year :..(

Full respect for:

That's because you had a great time in other things, that's why you don't remember more

Breath of the Wild, is from Zelda, right?
-
Sep, Wii U y Switch.
-
Zwift
Zwift
y... Zwift xDAlthough that playing playing... is not quite it. Perhaps the only thing I play now is Pokemon Go
and occasionally to crappy games from telegram (from GAMEE). -
My list gets smaller every year:
OpenTTD
-
I continue with my line of file pulling (Morrowind (because I have just translated into Spanish a small mod that I started years ago in English), BattleZone II, HomeWorld Cataclysm, that crap called MechWarrior 4 with the expansions...), a lot of indie (those that can't be mentioned here), some of the ones that have been given away (Surviving Mars for example) and little more.
Now I am quite hooked on Mount & Blade: Warband, which has turned out to be a very interesting game, and for a few days they have been tempting me to return to WoW... but that will be in another thread.

Ains, the Zelda...one of my favorite sagas outside the PC world

and... Zwift xDAlthough that's playing... it's not quite that. Maybe the only thing I play now is Pokemon Go

And I, where I live it's a crime not to get on the bike and climb the damn mountain hehe
I hope you don't stop talking to me after this confession
@Yorus said in 13th Edition: What did you play in 2019?:My list gets smaller every year:

If that's what you feel like doing and you don't have time or desire for more, then... great! If sometimes we get oversaturated with leisure... I know this from experience

I started this year with the desire to finish some pending ones... will I achieve it? xD -

My friend, everything can be mentioned here, although it's another thing if someone, like myself, has enough culture to know them xD

You definitely know perfectly which edition I have more sensitivity for

Thank you so much for remembering me, I'm going to start working on it right away, of course I'm going to start with this level, I got a little shiver when I saw the images

Greetings gamer!

I'm glad you liked it!! This series is based on the classics and there are good level builders, it's worth giving it a few hours

A hug!!
