The thing is, if you set the physics one to 8x and the main one stays at 8x as well, I'd at least prefer the Titan at 16x and the 580 at 4x, I don't think there's much difference between 4x and 8x on a card for physics, and if with 4x it's more separated then even better.

I hadn't gone into that detail in SLI configuration if I knew they stayed at 8X/8X but I didn't know that the same thing happened with different graphics.

That has nothing to do with SLI or CF. If you plug in two cards, it goes to 8x8. If it were an x58, x79, then they would go to 16 or 16x8x8. That's the limitation Intel puts on those chipsets. If you don't have a PLX, it would limit you even with a sound card, I mean if you connect it to a PCIe x16.
It's about time Intel gave those chipsets a 16x16, but they don't feel like it because they have no competition.
Intel does whatever it wants. If they put a 16x16 on the Z87, they wouldn't sell a single x79, or they would sell very few, since both Z77 and Z87 are better, I'm talking about gaming performance. Even though a Z87 would allow an 8x8x8x8, it would still have a clear advantage in a 4way SLI of 780, because in addition to PCIe3, it would have a better PCIe controller, it's like the memory controller that improves with each new CPU series and frequencies, it will be similar.
With Z77 I'm referring to Ivy, that is 3xx0K, and Z87 to 4xx0K.

Look for the post of the 780Ti I think my results are there..they can always be improved. For example the 3DMark we know runs much better on Win 8, but I'm not installing that OS on my computer for now..it gives me the creeps..hehe
However, more than against me, since I'm ahead with overvolting, I think it would be fairer for you to compare with ConanR since he's on the same conditions. Unless you've messed it up..and don't remove tessellation eh? we don't know everything here…hehe

There's no CF 290X that even comes close to that...there's nothing special, unless they're with LN2, without tessellation or I know what..but if they're just 2 290X with voltage they don't even smell like the 780Ti or the TITAN except for a couple of things.
A 290X stays at almost 35-40% of the performance of a TITAN that's so high in the 3D Mark 11 xtreme.
Miracles in Lourdes...and when gaming don't even get me started. The CF 290X performs terribly......which is, after all, what we want from graphics cards.

Those 290x are a real bargain, they don't even need a plate, you just stick them on a piece of cardboard and they fly. jajaja.
Anyway, if those cards need LN2 and to destroy the graphics to add VRM and connectors and all that to outperform some air or water cooled ones, I wouldn't say much good about them, although that white background is pretty strange and they look more like two 7970s.
