What are you playing now?
-
Currently with Tomb Raider (2013), I have little left to finish it! The truth is that I was really looking forward to it, I'm liking it more than I thought and I'm enjoying it a lot. That said, I'll also tell you that I'm an old man and like the classic TR, none hahaha @Sylver will understand me

On the other hand, I occasionally play Word of Tanks and Word of Warships, but I'm a bit tired of Wargaming's games and I play them less and less.
Greetings!!

I am giving into Borderlands 3. I am a big fan of this saga, and I had it on hold.

I'm playing Borderlands 3. I'm a big fan of this series, and I had it on hold.
I think I have the 1 or the 2, I don't remember well but I think it must have been one of the ones they gave away on Epic. Maybe I'll get around to playing it someday.
I finished Tomb Raider 2013. Now I'm continuing another one that I also left at the beginning, Ryse: Sons of Rome.
It's spectacular visually and I love the Roman theme but the combat got a bit overwhelming. I hope to finish it, at least I'll have to try jajaja.Best regards!!

Just a few weeks ago I got hooked on Tomb Raider 4 for an analysis I'm doing of a PC from 99 (by the way, this game is for you, @_Neptunno_ and @Sylver, I know you're both big fans; it will be the first one in the review).

Now with summer everything is on hold, I hope I can find some time and publish the videos in September.
I've been busy with many other titles, but the ones I've spent the most hours on are Age of Empires II and Sim City 3000. I'll probably get back to SC3000 after the holidays.
All retro, as I have been doing for the past two or three years.
-
I also don't give up on retro games and I'm planning to do something different soon, but for now I'm playing SWOS 2020 (Sensible World of Soccer modernized with current player data) in which, with an external editor, I have changed a second-tier team and turned it into the team of my hometown to make it the champion of Europe and a world power

Don't forget the other forum member who's a Lara Croft fan, our dear @_Neptunno_ who has never been alone

Great news about the review, there's a special eagerness to see it. And with AOE II and SC3000 you've just increased my desire to return to the games of those years (although really, 99% of what I play is always old
)Just this afternoon I finished dusting off and getting ready my old Pentium III Coppermine, it had been frozen in time for more than 10 years, I've had some headaches with the RAM and the graphics, I even had to format the ancient Quantum Fireball of 8 Gb, but in the end I left it running smoothly, and the first thing I did was install Alien Versus Predator from 1999 and give it a go like a cybercafé addict

Apart from the Tomb Raider levels, I think that's the only thing I've played this year. Let's see if I can apply myself in the remaining months...
Best regards!

You're absolutely right. Post corrected

@cobito it's that you see that image of Tomb Raider IV and I already want to play it hahaha I'll be waiting for your analysis

@Sylver how well you know me! Well, when I have some time I'll put some levels of the author that I played recently. At least I finished this year a Tomb Raider from 8 years ago and Far Cry 3... xD
@Yorus It looks good, as you can see you are also from the old school
Greetings!!

I almost gave up on Ryse! I had started it a few months ago (quite a few) and I left it after playing two of the 8 chapters in the campaign mode, so I had forgotten some basic moves and felt overwhelmed in combat... so I had no way to advance. So I decided to start almost from the beginning and lower the difficulty level a bit because I wasn't sure if I was being too optimistic at the beginning. Thanks to that, I got back into it and I only have two chapters left to finish it, I must admit that I'm glad I gave it a chance because it's a very good game even if it's not my style, but I always like the theme of Rome. I'm playing it on two rigs: i5 8250u + gtx1050 / i9 990t (i9-9980HK) + gtx1080ti, it runs perfectly on both. On the other hand, I also started Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box, I hadn't played a car game in a long time, but I'll finish Ryse first and then I'll get into Burnout in full force afterwards. And to top it off, I was doing the "moñas" in Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator, I saw it lurking in my library and I felt like doing the crazy one xD Greetings!! -
I am replaying Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, with the expansion that I didn't play back then. The truth is that it is one of my favorite games of recent years. I got hooked again by seeing the trailers of HZD 2, which I won't play until it comes out on PC in 2-3 years... if it comes out.
I had some expectations for FarCry6 but seeing trailers of some in-game content, it is more of the same as always: after having played all the previous ones, I don't know if I have the desire for another clone.
Greetings gamers!

Speaking of Far Cry, I have the 4 and 5 pending, plus the Primal Hunter. I'm currently playing Blood Dragon but I'm not convinced by the 80s-futuristic vibe (not because of the 80s but a bit the setting, the island, the place itself).
I finished Rysen, which I quite enjoyed and sometimes I play Burnout Paradise.
I bought Metro Exodus a week ago in a sale, when I finish what I'm playing now I'd like to start with it!
Going back to Far Cry, I wouldn't mind playing 6 but for now I'm content with playing 4 which I think is like 3 but with improvements like using helicopters.
Greetings!!

The truth is that all the Far Cry games are very similar. I really enjoyed number 4 and even more so number 5. I also played Primal in its day and finished it, so it was entertaining too. I recommend number 3. With BloodDragon, I feel the same way as you: I wasn't convinced by the 80s vibe, and I'm from the 80s!

Exodus was also on sale on Steam and to be honest, I haven't been able to finish it: I don't know if I'm getting old or what, but I find it harder to get hooked on a game than before. I think the last game I really enjoyed for its story and gameplay mechanics was Control.
Abz!

I tried Far Cry 5 Sparrow version when it came out and I found it interesting but I didn't have much time to get a good impression. The only ones I could comment on are 1, 2, 3 and BloodDragon. Honestly, I've always believed that the saga is overrated at times and at others it's hated. The one that impressed me the most back in the day was the first one although the ending was a bit disappointing. The second installment was too repetitive and again the ending was a bit of a plof, although I loved the graphics and landscapes as well as the location.
The third installment so far has seemed to me the best although it also had some things I would have changed to make it more rounded, but well... especially the game's save system.
Anyway, I have more of a preference for other sagas but of course I still feel like trying out the new Far Cry games, I just don't have the time.
And about getting older, that happens to everyone. In the end we have less patience for certain flaws, lack of novelty or simply we're not convinced by more of the same. But well I have high hopes that I'll end up liking the game, although I admit that so far the one I enjoyed the most was 2033.Saludos!!

Well, I'm currently playing **GTA V** and some games of **World of Warships** because I spent a couple of days with a premium account, but I want to focus more on other games (and/or tasks) for a while. Greetings!! \xa0 \xa0 \xa0 \xa0 Edit: I forgot, I'm also playing **The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass** on the 3DS. I'm not really into consoles, but I love Zelda games. That said, I've played 3-4 at most. -
I played GTA5 several years ago and I have a good memory of it, how great that you are playing it now for the first time!
I am with the Assassins Creed Valhalla. I have not liked it as much as the Odissey, which is one of my favorites in the saga, but I had nothing else to play. In the end I finished it but it seemed very long and very repetitive to me.
The next one I will play will be the God of War, which is already on steam the PC version and I am very eager to play it.
Greetings!

@kalevala well yes, it's worth playing. I had tried a little of the story mode, but mostly the famous online mode, which they are making a lot of money with this mode. But well, it was time to get serious and play the story mode to the fullest, for now I have about 50 hours (of this year 35-38h), although I probably still have a few more hours to give it, maybe another 30-40 easily.
I should mention that I took a break with GTA since I wanted to play Serious Sam 3 BFE, and say what a way to de-stress with the dude Sam wow! Although sometimes you ended up exhausted from killing so much jajaja. I must say that I started playing it in 2013, but I wasn't convinced, I don't know. I gave it another chance and I ended up liking it. @amd125 I know you've put in a few hours into SS3, right?
Well, I've put almost 20h into it to finish it on a moderate level! Although the end leaves you exhausted, seriously, it was crazy.
Anyway, I'll go back to GTA V as I don't want to leave it aside as I'm enjoying it. However, I'm now opening a post about a Portal mod that I'm loving!Regards!!

@_neptunno_ don't you believe me. But I need to get a more modern SS. The thing is that I have the most modern graphics... an Rx 580, don't even think about it... parked and I'm using a 7970 and I play a little. Let's see if I change platforms as I continue with an I7 2600K and I think the poor thing has lasted its time. I'm tempted by the new generation of Intel and especially the 12400 which keeps a good balance of power over the price it has. Let's see if the graphics keep dropping and I update as well.
The one I want to play again is Far Cry 1. It was my favorite. I installed 5 but I didn't finish it and I don't have the last one and I don't think it would go very well with me. I remember the first one with affection since I played it with the first "moderately powerful" PC I had. An AMD 939 3200+ with a Nvidia 6600GT of 256 megs and at 1280*1024 it went very well with me. The only thing is that it doesn't work with Windows 10, not even for more things that I've done to it, so I'll have to reassemble one of the Intel 775 that I have. Put Windows XP on it and it's time to run the game.

@amd125 another one here who wants to play Far Cry 1. Nostalgia possesses us

The history of OS incompatibilities comes to us from a long time ago... With Runaway 2 I remember that it happened to me because of the OS and because of the hardware, although I patched it, it looked horrible on computers with modern hardware... I don't know the reason. And others like Monkey Island 4 I never managed to make them work on any system later than XP. Fortunately we are geeks...
I'm now playing more on NES and Mega Drive emulators, it seems that I'm going more backwards than forwards
A few days ago I spent the mythical Ghouls 'n Ghosts, that really had some stuff... Guaranteed addiction.By the way @amd125, what envy... I've been after an Rx 580 like that for years, but for a long time they have been prohibitive
Notify me when you upgrade your equipment if you want to sell it!Best regards!
