Inverted bottleneck?
-
Hello.
I am thinking about changing the GPU
Which is the last thing I need to update.
The current one is an rx580 xfx 8 gigas
My monitor is only compatible with AMD (I know there are options to use the "greens") but I prefer, unless someone says it's a mistake to use the reds (AMD).
The idea would be a series lower than the top, that is, an RX 5800xt
With 16 gs of RAM
And the time would be Black Friday
The budget now would be 600/700 €
For Black Friday I can raise it, but it's not planned...
I hope they lower the price something.
And in case I have a lot of money left over, I can go up to the 5900 XT series
Is it really worth it?
What do you think? -
@clipper I have no idea how things are going, but I think they will ask you for the resolution you will play at, if you want to have high framerates and others.
But on the other hand, I understand that you want to find out what is worth it the most at the moment within those price ranges.
Let's see what they comment. I bought it refurbished at a low price (I even had to finish refurbishing it myself because of a blow it seems it received), and I didn't complicate myself too much either because I have been disconnected for a long time, and getting something with a minimum for very cheap was enough for me. -
@defaultuser 1920/1080 resolution
240Hz
Currently about 60 FPS/s in medium quality
Looking for about 90 Fps /s in ultra at minimum
In day z
P.d if anyone wants to play I'm on activerole

The last time I played with people from this server was batellfield and OGame

I've seen the shafire "offer" for €699.88, I'll get it for €552 as the company has it on sale. Do you think it will go down more on Black Friday or is it not worth waiting? According to the PcComponentes tables, it has never gone below that price.
The only "but" is that I only tried that assembler once many years ago and I don't know what it's like today, shapphire.
The graphics card is this:

@clipper well it's hard to know honestly, but if you get that graphics card for less than 600€ I think it's a good price. However, the fact that the RX7000 is about to come out would make me wait a bit to see how it performs... or if it will make them drop even more, on Black Friday they might drop that graphics card even more or have deals... mmmm I mean we don't have a crystal ball to predict what will happen.
In my case, I can wait for the GPU because I have more than enough with the 1080TI but if I had an RX580 and wanted to upgrade, that 6800XT must be a beast. It might drop a bit on Black Friday but... imagine it's 50€... that's money, but you're also in doubt whether to take the plunge or not for that additional discount. Mind you, this is just speculation... although I doubt it will drop more than 600-550€ for that graphics card until they run out of stock unless something weird happens. I think they'll rename it RX 7600XT or something like that and sell it hahaha.Best regards!!

@_neptunno_
Well I think it's going to crash.
Good...
It crashed. I'll have it tomorrow or the day after.
I'll comment and run some tests to compare.
I hope to have a pc for about 3 years
.

@clipper Well I hope you upload photos, and in conditions to enjoy the views

Enjoy it!!

That's done.
Which synthetic test do you prefer?

P.d I'll get it tomorrow and I'm working over the weekend, but I'll make some time.

It may be that the 7000s will not displace general market prices until after the holiday season, due to their release during the period of assured sales.
At the same time, when new products come out, their prices, and what they really improve, often the previous ones with a good price/performance ratio become top sellers and revalue.
That is, unless the current series still drops more during the holiday season and the release of the 7000s, you would already have to wait a few months to have better buying options, but you could have the opportunity for a better one for the same money, or this for less.
In the commercial world, this is called "fear of missing out" to what you are suffering right now, for them it is a sales tactic, for us a reason to try to keep a cool head that we are going to do
Wait, you have already gotten rid of that dilemma, so let's see those photos

@clipper Photos, of the card itself so that we can treat ourselves to the view and curiosity
and if there are in-game captures and benches then better, because it's not the same review if a buddy shows it to you who has it at home

I don't know how the price issue of the rx6800 XT will end when the 7000 series comes out but on Wednesday my boss paid €699.89 and I have to give him €563, he will be refunded the VAT.
Today the same graphics card in the same store costs €1426 so... I'm delighted with life.
I suppose it's always been the policy, they decide they want to get rid of part of the stock, they make a temporary offer and then raise the price again. And on Black Friday they lower them again if they have a lot of stock left and the forecast is that they will eat it with potatoes, if not then... there are no offers and they will sell them.
Regards.
About the review that's done.
At the moment the only thing that slightly bothers me is the "aluminum" color, lately I prefer more sober colors like black.
But since I'm not much of a person to look at the inside of the tower it's a bit of a difference for me, that is clear that it will be cleaner than the xfx which is 100% black and you can see the dust, which is bad.
