You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data." o lo que es lo mismo, un experimento cientifico que usa pc's conectados a internet para buscar inteligencia extraterrestre mediante la ejecucion de un cliente que baja automaticamente paquetes de información de un radiotelescopio, la analiza y la devuelve a la central del proyecto, es un proyecto de computación colectiva (que dicho sea de paso sirve para hacer tests de estabilidad pq pone la CPU a 100% full xD)

Es que antes de bajar hay que informarse, te vas a las webs de elinks mas famosas en España y te enteras seguro, ya sabia yo que iba a ser guarra eso , suele pasar.

En mi caso conectaba a algun server, pero siempre con LowID y no bajaba nada. Ademas nos dieron un toque porque el emule genera mucho trafico TPC y UDP y cualquier admin de una red se da cuenta :nono:

Pues nada, que me lo he instalado para probarlo … y he vuelto al 3.03.

Intenta conectar con el servidor el solito ...y encima es más lento que el 3.03 ... no hablo de poco... de media me ha tardado en dos día unos 20 minutos más por unidad que el 3.03 ... y tengo un XP 2000....

nada, lo dicho, que no pongais este 3.08 para nada ....

A mi no me ha pasado lo que comenta FHARMAKOM , pero no me ha gustado la experiencia

vb no es un lenguaje orientado a objetos, asi que no te harán falta conocimientos previos en este aspecto.

yo no te recomiendo ningun libro en particular, ve a una libreria tecnica, y cualquiera de los McGraw Hill, de Microsoft Press, será bueno. busca uno para "principiantes", ya que una vez que echas a andar, el resto lo puedes aprender en internet.

en cuanto a "guia de referencia" microsoft ya la tiene, se llama MSDN y esta en internet para todo el que lo quiera: msdn.microsoft.com (mas concretamente: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/vblr7/html/vboriVBLangRefTopNode.asp )

Puede ser q sea q win tiene algunos .dll maxakados y de problemas por eso. Prueba a reinstalarle en Win (si es posible) a ver si se soluciona.
Es una pena que la gente empiece a utilizar software libre (hay vida más allá de office… XDD y más barato) y que luego vuelva a utilizar productos propietarios por un mal funcionamiento debido a otro software.

Puedes exportar a cualquier unidad de disco que tengas en el ordenador que recibe las caches, tanto si es CDrom, como disquete, etc, incluso puedes enviarlas a través de una red local (yo lo he hecho cuando berkeley se queda colgado y no deja enviar ni recibir). Al menos con el SETI hide es fácil hacerlo, con otros softwares no tengo ni idea, simplemente selecciona las caches a exportar y escoge la ruta para exportar.

Cuando las has procesado las exportas al ordenador que tenga conexión a internet y este se encarga de enviarlas y recibir nuevas.

De todas formas, espera a Shilmar, que está acostumbrado a hacer esto a menudo, y lo explicará estupendamente (el lo ha hecho en grupos de hasta 100 unidades o más).
