Hilo de soporte de la instancia de Peertube

Hola @zalasur, gracias por el aviso.

Hace unas semanas se cambiaron algunas configuraciones de Nginx que parece que han afectado al acceso de los videos por parte de otras instancias.

Estoy fuera de casa y no sé si podré solucionarlo desde aquí (vuelvo en un mes), pero con la información que has proporcionado, lo mismo puedo hacer algo.

He echado un vistazo a la configuración y ya debería estar solucionado. Se estaba enviando una cabecera duplicaba que afectaba a las conexiones CORS pero no a las peticiones web.

Los videos ya se deberían poder reproducir desde tu instancia.

@cobito I was able to confirm videos are now playable again. I haven't tested live streams yet but I feel confident those are also fixed. I'll let you know if I see any further issues. Thanks for the quick response!

I started to playing around with the Hardlimit PeerTube Live stream. I was able to setup the live, although after a few seconds of playing the live in private browser window the video stops with the following error

Error
The video failed to play, will try to fast forward.

Is it something known? I did something similar on the other peertube instance and there it works.
Any hint?

@xliiv Es la primera vez que oigo hablar de este fallo. ¿Sólo sucede en la ventana de incógnito? ¿Funciona en una ventana normal? ¿Qué navegador estás usando?

Por mi parte, he probado bastantes veces reproducir directos en una ventana de incógnito y nunca he tenido problemas.

1. both in incognito (as annonymous) and regular window (as logged in user)
2. brave-origin (but i think i also checked it on firefox, anyway i'll do it tomorrow for sure)

@xliiv Ok, nadie nos ha informado de ese problema en concreto. En el pasado se han visto problemas de conectividad a la hora de hacer retransmisiones en directo desde ciertos proveedores (Alemania e Italia), pero eso se solucionó.

Ya nos contarás cómo te va con Firefox.

does anyone else stream from linux/wayland?

1, my streaming setup is Steam window on linux/wayland - this gets the error (also I've checked streaming some editor window with closed Steam and also broken).
2, i'll also checked other machine, streaming editor window on linux/xorg and it works.

Also between (1) & (2) also OS is differrent.

@xliiv Yo he transmitido mucho desde Wayland con OBS, siempre con Fedora o derivada (Nobara). Hacer directo en peertube desde Linux con un escritorio Wayland SIEMPRE recomiendo la versión de OBS de Flathub, compilación mantenida por la misma desarrolladora oficialmente, los principales plugins están también en flathub y son fáciles de instalar.

Otra cosa importante es siempre elegir el códec h264 y no utilizar codecs como AV1 o h265, ninguno de esos codecs son soportados por peertube.

I can confirm it works with the following changes

1. obs from flatpak (instead from the distribution)
2. use software h.264 (instead of nvenc h.264)

You can change (2)
settings > output > Streaming > video encoder

UPDATE:
(1) is options, it also works with the distribution version of OBS.
