ASUS A8N-SLI deluxe ¿como leches flashear la BIOS?

Bueno, me he pillado esta placa y tengo un problemilla al arrancar. A veces cuando reinicio no lo hace y se queda como muerta. Quiero actualizar la BIOS a ver si se corrige el problema antes de ir a descambiarla… porque no me mola tener que desmontar todo el ordenada.
He visto en en la web de ASUS que hay bios que corrigen problemas de arranques asi que me he descargado la ultima version, pero cuando he visto en la web donde explican como flashear la bios

Veo que hay varios metodos segun el modelo de placa base. La mia no aparece por ningun sitio y el correo que les envie al SAT parece que no es respondido…
¿alquien sabe como se FLASHEAN estas placas?

Upgrading the BIOS

One of the first things to do when you got the motherboard is upgrade the BIOS to the latest non-beta release, which is 1007. The proper way of doing this is by using a floppy drive as a startup disk. You’ll need to have access to a second computer to create the needed startup files, according to the following procedure.

• Download the latest 1007 BIOS and BIOS flash tool here: http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=A8N-SLI%20Deluxe&Type=Latest
• Download the BIOS and flash tool under the BIOS section of above mentioned URL.
• In Windows XP go to the floppy drive
• Format with using the option to create a MSDOS startup disk
• Once the disk is created unpack the 1007 BIOS and flash tool to the floppy
• Configure the motherboard with just the memory, processor and heatsink, video card and floppy drive
• Set the SLI selector card to ‘single card’
• Connect the power supply, including the 4-pin 12volt and 6-pin PCIe
• Hit ‘del’ once the system displays the boot screen
• Go to ‘Exit’ menu and select ‘Load Setup Default’
• Then ‘Exit & Save Changes’
• After the reboot the system will boot off the floppy
• Type ‘awdflash 1007.bin’ to start the BIOS update
• Select ‘No’ to save BIOS and ‘Yes’ to update BIOS
• Once completed press ‘F1’ to reset the system
• Power the system off and unplug the power supply from the mains

Si consigues arrancar una vez en Windows, instala el Asus Update, le dices que vas a actualizar la BIOS desde archivo, seleccionas la BIOS que te has descargado, y listo, windows te lo hace y no hay mucho riesgo, ya que si da error, te avisa para que reviertas la actualizacion…

Si consigues arrancar una vez en Windows, instala el Asus Update, le dices que vas a actualizar la BIOS desde archivo, seleccionas la BIOS que te has descargado, y listo, windows te lo hace y no hay mucho riesgo, ya que si da error, te avisa para que reviertas la actualizacion…

El problema no es arrancar. Es cuando reinicio. A veces (no siempre) se queda pillada y tengo que apagar la fuente y volver a encenderla.

si pones la ultima bios estable la 1014 si no recuerdo mal, instalate antes los controladores nuevos para la nforce4 que son los 6.66 o 6.65 segun la web de asus
