    @wwwendigo:

    Look, I haven't even bothered to read more after the pearl you've dropped in the first sentence, first by being disrespectful, and second by dropping the first nonsense statement with the sole intention of flaming.

    And stop lying, please, because here people don't suck their fingers:

    And so with any resolution they use on TPU!, a minimal difference between reference cards (especially the 970, with TDP and blower of the GTX 670 doing some thermal throttling) of 2-3% between both cards (and don't come with percentage subtractions, a rookie mistake that I won't amend and I'll warn you about).

    Nothing to do with the tuned ones or anyone who mounts a "reference" blower style GTX 770 or GTX 680, which are better than the "basic" ones with blower type GTX 670/760.

    About 20 games to make that average, so fewer wolves, by the way, given that I see a clear intention to flame and disrespect, on a personal level, and to disrespect the most basic truth, obviously I report for your clear intention to make fun of people.

    Considering that mine comes with a slight factory OC, better dissipation and less thermal throttling, and that I can also get without problems an extra 15% REAL performance with light OC without touching voltages, there's only one thing left to add:

    Take your jabs elsewhere.

    I've already put above a review of the evga 970 ssc, one of the best 970s, and as you can see it's below, even at 1500 in some games it's still below a reference 780 ti ….. Let's not even talk about boosting the 780ti to 1ghz with undervolt clear, why then...

    The internet is too big to be able to compare and see which webs are more impartial, how the different driver versions affect both architectures and the performance they acquire, so that you can say what you just said....

    I won't even bother to put the data obtained on site by me, I'll tell you in advance that with maximum OC both cards give me an average of 10 fps in almost all games, it's a world.... and without VRAM problems XD.

    Defend and excuse what you want, the numbers don't lie and are objective, the problem is serious and has little solution, you can put on as many band-aids as you want, all the ones you're willing to swallow.... You have thousands of users with problems, depending on the PC configuration greater or lesser, each one endures what they want, but then don't go crying on the forums soon as some do when not even at 1080p the games are smokable due to the continuous and excessive use of VRAM.

    More so when talking about the sums of VRAM by dx12 and drivers...

    Anyway, goodbye.

    Try it first to see how it goes, if you only ordered one there is no problem and maybe you wouldn't have two either, they are not hot graphics, in that box maybe both have good temperature.

    If you only ordered one and later you want another maybe it would be good to have one as a reference to put above, anyway maybe with these they don't get too hot even if they are both customized, there are people who have SLI of customized ones and they don't talk about bad temperature, that would be worse with hotter graphics, with these maybe it doesn't happen and if the one above gets hotter maybe the difference isn't that big.

    The setup should be the other way around, the reference one above and the customized one below, the reference one higher than the other.

    Why, to get the signal only in analog, they are not used, that simple.

    @gamingpy:

    jajaj entiendo fjavi tienes toda la razon, respecto a las graficas no me convencen del todo un SLI de las gtx 970 para poder jugar a resoluciones 4k.

    Si te montaras un SLI sean de las 970 o 980 preferirias el modelo de referencia? por que? esa es una de las dudas mas grande que tengo que harias tu si tuvieses que elegir por cual de ellas optarias, de funcionar tendria que funcionar sean las de referencia o no pero la idea es darle caña y que pueda rendir lo mejor posible.

    Yo para SLI prefiero el de referencia, pero la 970 el modelo de referencia me parece muy malo, si tuviera el disipador oficial de Nvidia estaría muy bien, asi como lo tiene la 980, pero los que se ven no me gustan nada, por eso con una caja que tenga buena ventilación y una placa que permita separación entre las dos graficas, con la 970 elegiría personalizadas y con la 980 los de referencia.

    El porque es por que esas graficas personalizadas no les sienta bien estar juntas, una la de arriba se calentara unos cuantos grados mas, con los de referencia estaran mas igualadas en temperatura, aunque influye la ventilación de la caja y la separación entre tarjetas, si tiene buena separación y una ventilación buena dentro de la caja, con las personalizadas también podría ir bien, eso si no se piensa meter mas de dos con 3 o 4 ya desde luego yo solo quiero de referencia, o pensar en poner RL a las graficas.

    saludos

    @chascos69:

    Hola a todos

    It's time to renew the VGA and retire my beautiful GTX560 1Gb
    Now the eternal dilemma... which one to choose:

    I have these 3 options:

    • MSI GeForce GTX750 OC 2GB GDDR5 Refurbished - 106 e
    • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 OC 3GB GDDR5 - 175 e
    • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 OC 4GB GDDR5 - 254 e

    My budget is 220 e + VAT (approx 260)
    Any other one I'm missing?

    There's one thing I don't understand... how can a GTX660 2GB cost more than a GTX770 2Gb?

    My computer is an i7 with 16 Gb RAM and a 750 Thermaltake power supply

    Thanks!

    It's very strange that a 660 costs more than a 770, they must be stores with a very outdated price on the 660 and even so it's difficult.
    I would wait for the 960 to come out, there are a few days left until they come out then according to the models that come out and the price choose, you can already see a 960 but that unless they surprise us with the price is not interesting, I suppose another more powerful one with more memory will come out.
    Exclusive: MSI GeForce GTX 960 GAMING 2G and GTX 960 100 MILLION Edition pictured | VideoCardz.com

    it's worth waiting a couple of weeks to see what models they bring out and above all to see the performance/price.

    You can already see some 960s, although it seems that 2 or 3 models are going to come out, each one more powerful. This model doesn't convince me unless it comes out at 180€ or less, it should be called 950Ti. Exclusive: MSI GeForce GTX 960 GAMING 2G and GTX 960 100 MILLION Edition pictured | VideoCardz.com 128 bits and 2GB seems scarce to me, although it's not too powerful, I don't think that if they allow SLI they will be very short of memory, especially with games like Assassind Unity or Whast dogs. Assuming that another will have a minimum of 3Gb. Here's the chip. Exclusive: NVIDIA Maxwell GM206 pictured | VideoCardz.com That or they put it cheap or it's going to be a piece of junk, which will be very far from a 970, a lot of stinginess on the part of Nvidia. http://videocardz.com/54263/nvidia-geforce-gtx-960-specifications-and-performance-leaked regards

    @mitrasto:

    Many thanks for your recommendation, I'll go look for it tomorrow.
    I'll let you know
    I hope I can play Lords of the Fallen with this graphics.
    Many thanks
    Merry Christmas

    It's that with this graphics you don't need to change the power supply, I would only put the graphics the 750 consumes very little and that power supply is enough for you.
    The computer would work better with a 4-core CPU, but maybe you can manage with yours if you overclock it a bit, at least until you decide to change the computer, there were processors of that socket with 4 cores and cheap, but maybe it would be better to update the CPU plate and memory, put a more modern socket, but with the 750 that computer should be enough without touching anything else.
    What power supply is that 500W? because with a Tacen 420W I put up to an 8800GTS and a c2d 6420 at 3400 MHz, it must consume much more than that 750 the 8800gts g80.

    Se supone que es de GAMA ALTA. Sí o sí! Y la marca Sapphire es una de las mejores.

    Bueno, pues… enhorabuena por la compra y espero que la disfrutes.
    Pero ya puestos, me compro un raton en los chinos y me pillo al menos una r9 290 with 4GB. :wall:

    Fassou I already clarify it to you, better more than 60 A in the line of 12 for that SLi and with OC better something more

    Corsair RM850 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular
    Enermax Revolución87+ 850W Modular 80 Plus Gold

    both exceed 70 Amperes in the 12V line

    @Vegeta:

    Well, I have an NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT DDR2 1GB graphics card and I want to know if it's worth upgrading to the one I'm showing in the link. I also want to know if my power supply would support it, it's a NOX 530W. It's mounted on a Gigabyte EP41-UD3L motherboard, with an Intel Dual Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz processor, 4GB DDR2 RAM, and 2 hard drives plus a DVD burner. It also has 3 120mm fans. Can you tell me if with all this, the power supply can handle the graphics card I'm showing you and if it's worth it and if I'll notice any significant change?
    here's the graphics card

    GIGABYTE GTX750OC 2GB GDDR5 N750OC 2GI :: APPInformatica.com ::

    That graphics card is much more powerful than yours, a lot more, the power supply should be fine as it easily consumes less than the one you have, I see the problem in the equipment and in the price, for that price I would choose the 2GB one
    MSI GeForce GTX750 OC 2GB GDDR5 912-V809-1069 Graphics Card

    now the graphics cards have gone up a bit in price, but I'm not sure if these graphics cards will run at full capacity on your platform, many games might run well, but others that require a quad-core processor might run worse, although they should run much better than with the one you have.

    @wwwendigo:

    Yes, it seems like it will come out, for the Keplers in theory. After all, it's a pure soft technique, or if not, almost (maybe the final downsampling is done with hard, but it's a trivial matter to do via shaders, besides having dedicated 2D hard graphics, including a resolution scaler).

    Let's see if it's true and it works, although if it does by software it will ask for more and will lack power, but with SLI it will be easier.

    regards
    @Piccolo:

    Waiting for new news about that functionality for previous Keplers. Does the next high-end generation know more or less how much ram they will carry? 6-8 gb?

    No idea although it's easy that they are 384 bits and should have 6Gb, I refer to a GM200 or 210, maybe they will release a refresh of these GM204, like it happened between the 680 and 770 and it's easy that they continue with 4gb models and maybe some special 8gb from some assembler.
    The easiest thing is that the high range has 6GB, I refer to GTX not to Titan models or things like that, it would be 50% more than this GM204, just like it happened between the 2Gb of the 680 and the 3Gb of 780 and 780Ti.

    Check the manual to see if the lower graphics PCI-e slot shares IRQ with another integrated one (network card, sound card, another occupied slot...), or try disabling some of the ones you don't use (the typical ones for parallel port, serial,...).

    well I don't know what could have happened, I just tried another graphics card and everything works perfectly, so the problem is clearly the graphics card but I don't understand what could have happened, any advice???

    I've seen a Gigabyte GTX 750 OC 2GB-GDDR5 for around 115€.

    I'm being honest with you, and this thought, whether wrong or not, I had when I went for the 270x, was because it's cheaper than the 280x and because that way I didn't have to also buy a power supply of more than 450w and because my monitor is 1360x768...
    From there I thought, well, I can't afford a 280x and a new power supply right now, but the 270x will give me more performance because I don't play in full HD..
    But I forgot that maybe I would need more powerful CPU to compensate, especially in some games more than others, because I don't complain about Crysis or Metro and several others that run very well for me...
    What is true in this, I made a big mistake in thinking that the 270x would give me more performance at my resolution than if I played at 1080p..
    In summary, I thought, well, I didn't get the 280x, but at least at low resolution I'll get extra performance from the 270x..
    I messed up in everything or in something I thought was right...
    What do you think, because I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this way and out of ignorance one assumes things wrong sometimes...
    Sorry if I went off-topic, maybe this topic is for another branch, but I don't know what you guys think...

    I suppose that by "everything" you mean "everything that is not OS and applications".
    If that is the case, the swap file should be on the SSD along with the OS, with a fixed size whose value, now that we do not have as many space problems, should match the one recommended by Windows, no matter how high it seems to us.
