What I want is the best image quality at the best price. I also like to take night shots and some of them are several minutes of exposure. I also want to have the greatest control over the image: iso, focus, depth of field, aperture, etc, etc, etc. I had been with the Olympus for 4 years and I have given it its war. If you're going to take thousands of photos, I think a Reflex will last you longer. My Canon 350D can go over 20,000 photos. I don't know about the current ones, but professional ones go over several hundred thousand, although it's normal that you have to take them to the workshop every X time to tune them up. I have friends with Reflex cameras with over 100,000 photos, but they are always mid-to-high range cameras. I'm reading reviews and looking up prices. At the moment I'm considering the EOS 1100d (€360) and the Nikon D3100 (€425) with 18-55mm. I'm also thinking about getting a 70-300mm (€150).

I'm ruling out the Nikon D3000 because they don't speak well of it and it also seems like an old model.

To all this I would have to add a couple of batteries (clones, €15), a normal tripod because they destroyed mine (€30) and a remote shutter release (€10).

·Nikon D5100

En realidad en ese precio van incluidos dos objetivos, una batería extra, un disparador remoto, un trípode y una bolsa de transporte.

Bueno sí, por ese dinero podría hacer un cambio de plataforma. La diferencia está en que la nueva plataforma estaría vigente dos o tres años (hasta volverse obsoleta) y la reflex no. Perdón que he pasado un par de días fuera de casa. Creo que has pillado una buena cámara. De todas formas una cosa es que llegue a una Iso muy alta y otra cosa que te interese. Por ejemplo Mi Reflex la tengo limitada creo que a Iso 800. No lo subo más porque la pobre aunque tire con Iso 3200 creo, pues ya mete mucho ruido.

Bueno, pues hoy me ha llegado la D3200 y la verdad es que no tiene ni punto de comparación con la Olympus. Aunque sí hecho en falta alguna que otra opción. En general la cámara me parece un portento y el sensor es bastante bestia (demasiado incluso).

La grabación de video está bien (bastante mejor que otros modelos que estuve viendo) pero no tiene una calidad "profesional".

El 75-300mm es una maravilla. La verdad es que era lo que más necesitaba en la otra. Eso sí, es complicado sacar fotos nítidas a pulso sin una cantidad óptima de luz (como es natural).

Bueno, si alguien quiere una foto o vídeo de muestra o que le enseñe algo de la cámara que diga algo.
