Test of the Real Nvidia Gtx Titan, single-sli-tri Sli, 4 WAY SLI

Hooola ELP3,
Tas tonto o tas tonto??

jeje..
I found your post funny..
Yes, it's very curious, but it reaches higher peaks and maintains frequencies better on auto at 80º than by setting the fan to 85% and not exceeding 55º..in theory, that should be very good for RL..
We'll have to do a master to be able to overclock them decently..cashis the sea with Nvidia and their things, although this seems to be the "future" of all graphics. Goodbye to the art of OC..

There's a lot of confusion about overclocking the Titan, according to this page they should allow 1.21v which maybe they do through the driver, they're also saying the same thing as you that it holds up better at high temperature, so at low temperature it drops in frequency, they're seeing if they can modify the bios, but I don't know if anything will be achieved.

Congratulations to the 3 ELP3 girls, I hope you quickly get information to brush your nvidia automatisms and beat 4 or 7 records.
-
ELP3,
A little question to see if you have tried it seriously, the Kboost button on the EVGAPrecision that is what you were talking about leaving the boost in 2d??, I have tried it, it restarts your pc, but I see that it does not give more performance for it, I have done four tests and nothing, but I say maybe ELp3 can throw me a jar of light, hehe
Thanks! -
Congratulations on the 3 ELP3 girls, I hope you quickly get information to brush your nvidia's touchy-feely automatisms and beat 4 or 7 records.
A true honor and pleasure to have you here MaLdo. When you can, check your email..;)
A hug.

Kboost is an invention by Evga that could be useful but it is not. It really does not fix the boost, as it seems, but you fix the frequencies of 13MHZ at 13MHZ, I do not remember exactly and it always uses the lowest one so that the boost fluctuates menos.Es something they already released for the small Kepler. But it has worse performance, since it does not let the graphics go to the top and they keep fluctuating.
Regards.

Ammmm, thanks for the clarification, it really is what you say it doesn't improve performance. Well, then to continue investigating, I want to finish running some benchmarks with the 3930k and switch to the 3770k to see how it behaves around there….
Thanks Elp3!!

Many congratulations Elp3 for those three little ones and thank you very much for sharing all your experience with us, it is always welcome and very appreciated…
I also take this opportunity to send a greeting to all the old friends, a big hug to all... -
Welcome the new ones, MaLDO, josele, Unicoor, this is getting better and better.
I wanted to say that there is a bios for Titan that unlocks Power target to 150 but it doesn't seem to do anything, it seems that some titans below 50º maintain the charge better, but when you put the fan at full speed, throttling comes in and the frequencies go down mysteriously.
This Zotac but of course 45º, anyway it is a very strange score, the GPU is fine but overall it seems like little.

I have reached 15500 in 3d11 with the 3930k at 5000,

.. tonight I will try it with the 3770k to see how it behaves, but with the fan on automatic as ELP3 already advises, I tried it thoroughly and it decreases in performance, as you say.

The biggest problem now is getting a Titan. It seems like an odyssey… and from what I'm asking around, there are a lot reserved. Long live the crisis!
Until I try one in my hands I wouldn't know how to value it. But that doesn't maintain the frequency boost and now that Haswell will come with flaws with USB 3.0. It's showing me that quality tests aren't very reliable...

Very reliable, no, nothing, as kpablo mentioned earlier, it's unbelievable, that they release components to the public, and make us users beta testers… :wall:, and more with Hardware of 1000€ per piece.....
By the way, welcome. ;).

If overall you get more, I suppose the one in the screenshot I posted will use a 3770K or a 4-core SB, in GPU score it gets more than you, they are I think 16600 the ones it gets with that Zotac, that's why it's usually better to always look at the GPU score, so you can see the differences better without the processors used influencing.

Tomorrow I'm going to tinker with a 4th TITAN, OJO tinker, not to be undefined.
I'll say how the 4 Way goes, but I don't have much hope, seeing that it's the drivers that fail.. but anyway, even if it's going through rough times, it's a luxury to play on them..
Best regards.

Greetings to all the acquaintances that I hadn't read in a long time, I missed a lot of people I will follow the thread with interest, I get a Titan at the end of the week and I have a lot to learn from the new nVvidia, I had stayed in the 580. I will already tell you how it behaves in an older socket, like my 980X 1366. Greetings -

I don't know where I read that Titan only supported up to 3 way, I imagine you've informed yourself well about what the 4th is about…......
You'll already tell us although I imagine, as you say, while they don't take off a bit with the drivers issue, you won't notice an improvement.
On the other hand I'll be attentive to your impressions, since I was tinkering with a 4 way of 670, as you know, and it wasn't noticeable much beyond Crysis 3 and Metro. The processor moves the 3 well, how about adding a fourth??
Best regards.

We've already seen you acquire it. ;), death star renovation not?? Hehe, well those performance comments on the old but still perfectly valid 1366 will be very welcome.
Best regards, and welcome Pepillo…...

Pepillo, what a joy to have you here.
I have already seen that the Zotac flew..jeje..it's good. You are going to be the first to have a Zotac, let's see how it behaves...that platform is still valid for a TITAN, you shouldn't worry too much..now that yes, if you think about 2, better one with native PCIe 3.0..
A hug.
P.D:officially they don't have support, but unofficially si.No in all games, but if in benhs and the most important ones like metro, sleeping,Crysis 3 etc..let's try to see..

welcome Pepillo, it had been a long time since we saw you.
The Titan with a single one should not have problems, I wanted to do the same thing, put one with X58 and a 920, but I will have to wait to see if they go down or to see if they release one with 3 GB.
A greeting

There are more and more old acquaintances in this forum.
To be honest, I'm thinking about getting a titan but with a 1080 monitor I don't see the justification when I have a watercooled 680 but I don't know if the bargain will work out for me in the end. Anyway, these things don't stay around forever
