Test of the Real Nvidia Gtx Titan, single-sli-tri Sli, 4 WAY SLI

For me the RTX 2080 Ti is out of the question, at least at the price they are now, if in a few months they drop a bit it could be considered and it would be very similar to my trio, of which by the way I am very happy, since I found the fault, thanks Elp3, I just enjoy it jajaja
I want to tinker a lot like anyone else, to make a huge expense to have the same performance, none jajaja
Best regards.
Same here, I don't pay those prices, I recognize that they are very powerful graphics and also perhaps the best quality they made, at least in monogpu, but if I think that these should have been the 680, even if it was with 3Gb then I get sick, or a 780 and you already save a generation.
I don't even expect them to drop much because they won't, if AMD doesn't release anything until the end of the year Nvidia won't get off its butt.

and considering the prices of 7970 and 680 when they came out, at the price that some of these are today,…the 690, and the performance of this thing, and especially the fluidity and the potential that can be seen in it,....even if they go down, I don't see them below 750-800 euros

For those in the know, you can tell me compared to the Titan where this card would stand in performance, everything points to a price of $600-700.
NVIDIA may decisively hold on to the single-GPU performance lead, with its GeForce GTX Titan graphics card, but at roughly $1000, it could attract a very small market. According to a SweClockers report, NVIDIA is looking to woo gamers just ahead of Summer with the second GK110-based GeForce GTX graphics card. Similar in specifications to the fabled Quadro K6000, the new SKU could feature 13 out of 15 streaming multiprocessors on the GK110 silicon, working out to 2,496 CUDA cores, 208 texture memory units, a 320-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface holding 5 GB of memory, and 40 ROPs. Given that there's a deep ravine between the ~$450 GeForce GTX 680 and ~$1000 GTX Titan, NVIDIA could pick a price-point in the middle. The report claims the new SKU could launch some time between July and August, 2013

It's that at that price, it would be ideal… but until the GTX700 series comes out nanai... and we'll see.
Jotole good beasts... how do you do it that you always get all the good stuff? :wall:

I'm behind my friend Alcor so he can lend me one of his 480s and try the 4way jajajaj, but at the pace he's going, he'll send it to me when they implement the graphene chips :wall: :troll: jajajaja ;D
As long as my trio can handle current games at full settings, except for some filters, and they don't come out with some graphics solution that for 1000 euros, it doesn't matter if it's one gpu or two, beats the performance of what I currently have, I think I'll stay put, 1000 euros for graphics already seems like a lot to me.

Well if they drop to 750€ even the 1060€ that it currently costs are 310 € which if you buy two are 620€ which is soon said, even so I think it's an exorbitant price, but well if I paid with the 8800 Ultra why wouldn't I do it now jajajjaa.

The rumor has it that he makes good "Installations" I'll leave it at that :troll:

By the way, those new nvidia drivers, not only fix Tomb Raider... but also Crysis 3..and in what way...
The problem with the ropes and so on is over..I, as a masochist, am putting everything to everything to see what happens..2560X1600P.Very High,8XMSAA,16XFA,Blur at maximum..but the 4 TITANES are determined to keep the 60 fps unchanged...curious, it's the first crysis that I will be able to play at maximum and constant 60 fps without having to wait years or mods..jeje

:wall:
Aquí información de como hacerlo:
“Naennon” / “maarten12100″ NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Modded BIOS

But what is that problem with the ropes? I've played it and I don't realize what you mean, curiosity eats me away.:ffu:

Man, if they go down to €750, the current cost is €1060, so €310. If we buy two, it's €620, which is soon said than done, but I still think it's an exorbitant price, but hey, if I pay with the 8800 Ultra, why not do it now haha.
€700 would be acceptable, €750 is pushing it (The Titan is at €968 in cheaper stores than the usual ones -> http://xtremmedia.com/Gigabyte_Nvidia_GTX_TITAN_6Gb_GDDR5.html), from there it would be a bit pointless compared to the Titan.
I guess they will release it with 5.1Gb of vram.

MaLDoHD for Crysis 2: Performance bug in Crysis 3 first level

Hello:
I already mentioned that nVidia was working on a second "cut" Titan in terms of performance and we will have it soon (it is estimated for the summer).
NVIDIA is reportedly working on a second GK110, a cut-down GTX Titan.

To do this, they plan to launch a new GeForce, still with an unknown name, based on the GK110 chip, which would arrive next summer and would be a more economical and less powerful version than the current GTX Titan. The future card would have 13 SMX instead of the 14 of the GTX Titan (and the 15 of the GK110 chip), a 320-bit bus instead of the 384 with 5 GB of VRAM. In addition, it would have 2,496 Stream Processors instead of 2,688, 208 texture units vs. 224 and 40 of the 48 ROPs of its big sister.
Obviously, NVIDIA has a lot of room to set the price, since there is a big gap between the GTX 680 and the GTX Titan. In terms of performance, it is also clear that it will be between both cards with a figure that, from Noticias3D, we would bet on a 25-30% superiority over the GTX 680, also being superior to the HD 7970 GHz Edition, but we don't dare to put figures there.
The specifications of the GTX Titan were practically identical to those of the Tesla K20X, while those of this new future VGA are very similar to the Tesla K20 and it wouldn't surprise us if it were identical except for the clock speed of the core.

Will it be time to go for this one if the restrictions are NOT too exaggerated …..........?

By the way, I just checked something very strange. The benchmark score of Batman and Mafia II seemed a bit low to me. I tried the 3dMark Vantage, and the physics don't work for me, it does them by CPU regardless of what I select in the nVidia control panel. Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

For me, the physics work in MAFIA 2, benchmark by the way, which improves a lot with the TITANs. Although it is true that in this case I had an exclusive for physics.
I think it's a matter of drivers. For whatever reason, it's possible that the PhysX one hasn't been installed properly. Reinstall or install them individually.
Best regards.
-
Could you try the physics test in Vantage?
The drivers I just installed today are also the latest beta, and it gives me the same error.
Thanks

I have the same issue with the GTX660, it does the physics through the CPU…
-
It happens to me with the GTX660, the physics are done by CPU…
If it happens to more people, I feel more at ease, it will be a matter of drivers, I worry that you search on Google and I found nothing.
Greetings

Did you end up changing Oli?

Did you finally change Oli?
Best regards.
More or less, I was able to buy a GTX660 at a good price and I bought it mainly to tinker with it a bit, but I won't keep it, I'll change it soon ;), it's the 2Gb one and in Skyrim I run out of vram with just 4 mods, because from 1.5Gb you know what happens.
Best regards

The physics works for me, I just played Alice Madnes and it's noticeable a lot and that's not done by CPU because it would get stuck, assign it manually to the GPU, I play Alice Madnes with the 470 with high physx and it's noticeable a lot, I made an underwater area that has a lot of physx and a lot of Ápex and the GPU does it, you can see the indicator by putting it in the driver to see if physx works, it's like the SLI bar but for PhysX, if it works it shows up and if not, it doesn't.
Jotole those Titans look great on your rig, it doesn't seem like they need the RL.
