11th Edition: What did you play in 2017!??

This year **2017** that we leave behind must be one of the years in which I have played the least in a long time

Most of them, things that have come to me for free, or that I had been putting off for a long time.

The Descendant (I tried it because of the argument but it's as linear as few)

I, for a change, have played few things:

• Team Fortress 2, as always, on UK servers in general. I still have fun.

• Killing Floor 2. It entertains me equally, but not as much as TF2.

• GTA V. I'm into it, just starting, and the truth is, now I know why I left 4 as soon as I started it, these games seem repetitive to me.

• Counter Strike: A few hours, I'll let it go someday. It also bores me.

• Doom, entertaining.

And not much more.

I have in the back room: Metro Redux both games, Stalker the whole saga again, Dying Light bought on sale, Wofenstein the last one to see if I buy it when it goes down in price, and a few indie-type games that I've been buying and I never finish playing.

I just donated... my AMD 7950 to my nephew along with an FX 8350 to play The Sims jajaja so now I'm with an AMD RX 580 and for the games I handle it goes well. The era of playing all day long has passed away... now I read more and play less.

I haven't played much this year, I'm a disgrace... I've also been very busy with business, so I hope that serves as an excuse

In my free time, I'm addicted to GTA V, I've also played some loose Need For Speed, some Tomb Raider as always, a FIFA on the PSP now and then... And of course, the one that never fails, Age Of Empires II HD: The Forgotten Edition

Mmmm I haven't played much in 2017 either, it was dedicated to wasting time on movies and Netflix...
As for games although my PC was quite old, I enjoyed some old games and some new ones:

• Rise of the Tomb Raider which I found very good, an interesting story and very good graphics despite not playing it at high quality. The only bad thing I found was that the controls failed at some moments and the camera view was annoying and wrong sometimes.
• Dishonored which despite being very old I didn't know about and I found it very original that there are many ways to complete the missions, and that there were different endings. It reminded me of "Choose your own adventure".
  Then there was another indie style game that I can't remember the name of that was quite interesting, with puzzles in space.
  That's all and I hope that 2018 has more video games.

I in my file-hoarding line, simply because no new title has caught my attention.

Moreover, with this thing of now giving away games, and I had been wanting more than one, so all the more reason.

For example, the NeverWinter Nights, which to remember those afternoons with friends playing AD&D is amazing.

Also something about the TeamFortress 2, Homeworld: Cataclysm (the original, not that one they released not long ago), X3 Terran Conflict + Albion Prelude the BattleZone 2... and some Japanese and indies that by theme, I won't put here.

Hello, well I also haven't had much free time to dedicate to games during 2017, but I really missed Lara Croft, so I made room for her to dedicate some time to Rise of the Tomb Raider.
I have also remained faithful to Battlefield 1 and the multiplayer of BF Hardline.
To relieve tension nothing like crushing the skulls of the deformed monsters of Doom 2017 or letting lead fly at full speed with Titanfall 2.
I have tried approaches to The Witcher 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda, but they are games with a lot of narrative weight and with the little time I could dedicate to them they seemed very slow to me, despite the fact that aesthetically I have liked them.

Damn Nemo, you mention the BF 1 and I also played it for a few hours, at times, and I forgot to comment on it. Entertaining but more of the same, I had to play it at 1080p because my AMD 7950 couldn't at 1440p, I'll see if now that I've upgraded the graphics I'll reinstall it, but I'm still a one-armed bandit with planes...

Of the series, BF 3 was the first one I played and I put hours into it, then BF 4 very few hours... and I'll give BF 1 another chance.

For my part, the truth is that I'm super lazy when it comes to pending titles, but anyway, here's my list:

Word of Tanks: The game where I spend the most hours and... money

Minecraft: I gave it a lot of hours before summer, I have a map where when the wind blows I start building, exploring and making "holes"

Spintires: Well, a few hours to this simulator of "special" Russian vehicles to go to the countryside.

Train Simulator (TR2017).

Driver San Francisco: It's old, but I had it pending and I entertained myself for 14 hours.

Alan Wake: Fantastic and very entertaining, I started the expansion but I still have it pending

Portal 1: Well, I finished it for the fourth time!!

GTA V: I was playing it a little in Sparow version, but I already have a good copy and I hope to start it this year

Just Cause 2: I played a couple of hours, the truth is that it's like a GTA but a little more "surreal" xD

They are always cool, there are some very clever minds out there when it comes to designing levels, that's why I love it, they are different trips every time. It's like the 90s were prolonged indefinitely (for those who make levels based on TR2 and TR3) so I live with an overdose of happiness about it hahaha!
