Gigabyte reveals its AMD 890GX mainboard GA-890GPA-UD3H with USB3 and SATA3 (6Gbps) support based on the upcoming AMD 890GX chipset.
The 890GX is to replace the aging 790GX chipset and it is built around the AM3 socket with DDR3 support. This chipset will also support the upcoming Thuban 6 core processor. The board South bridge will include SATA3 (6Gbps) no USB 3.0 support yet.
The boards have CrossFireX support, and include onboard DX10.1 capable video at 700MHz utilizing UVD2 (Unified Video Decoder) with support for Hybrid CrossFire.
From the pictures, we can see that this board comes with NEC USB 3.0 controller chip. So there is USB 3 support on this board. It also has 6 SATA3 (6Gbps) ports in blue.
There are 4 DIMM slots, 1394, GbE, 8 ch audio support on this board too. At the back panel, we see 6 USB ports (2 in blue), PS2/Keyboard/Mouse, D-SUB, DVI-D, HDMI, SP/DIF, 1394 and GbE ports.

Form Factor (mm)ATX (305×244Es la sustituta de la 790GX y parece que llegarán en Mayo, quizás algo tarde para mi gusto. Y se supone que soportaran los nuevos Phenom X6, si no estoy equivocado.
Tendremos que esperar a más modelos de AMD, supongo que se mejorara mucho. Eso si, en gráficos me esperaba algo mas.

Vaya no vienen con dx11 eso habria sido un buen punto para amd pero bueno. La grafica no cambio mucho desde el 790. Nos tocara esperar mas para ver integradas con dx11
