Existen dos tipos básicos de circuitos: Restrictivo y No restrictivo.
En el primero no tienen demasiada importancia los tubos.. y se usan diámetros medios.
En el segundo (No restrictivo) los tubos importan y hay una medida Optima
Cada caudal tiene una medida optima, algo menos es malo… menos aún es malísimo....
Algo más es bueno... pero no es práctico.. mucho más no aporta nada.
En función del caudal de bomba se podría decir que:
tipo 300 l/h max --> 8-10 mm. interior (ej. eheim 1046/ Hydor S-20)
tipo 600 l/h max --> 10 mm. interior (ej. eheim 1048/ Hydor S-40/maxijet 600)
tipo 1000 l/h max --> 12 mm. interior (ej. eheim 1250/maxijet 1000).
En función del circuito:
Restrictivo --> 6 - 8 mm.
Medio --> 8 - 10 mm.
No Restrictivo --> en función del caudal
La tendencia es ha realizar circuitos medios o no restrictivos.. ya que está demostrado que grandes caudales mejoran el rendimiento global... eso no quiere decir que circuitos muy restrictivos (microchannels de alta presión) no puedan ser mejores...muy al contrario dan cifras envidiables... tan solo digo que GLOBALMENTE funciona mejor un circuito con gran caudal.. (por no hablar de la vida de las bombas... y etc, etc.).
