I would try the power supply first.

If you have the money for an i5 I think you should make the effort to go for something with a bit of quality like the Antec VPF 550W for about 65€ or at least the VP which costs the same as your 700W Tacens but you get 500W that are decent, you still have enough for a mid-range graphics card (considering the 750 as mid-low).

If it still fails with the other one test and fight with software or BIOS configs, in case of being hard I would almost point to the card rather than the disk.

It's not something that I changed recently, in fact I can't remember the last time I changed it. I guess it must have been mixed up with something else.

· It makes noise, but not more than I expected from having a compressor in the room.
· The fix of taking the tube out the window is a big mess. It comes with some foams to insulate but they are too thick and in the end the best option has been to use some cardboard.
· In a few minutes I have gone from having an infernal temperature to an acceptable temperature (it is more effective than I thought).
· It weighs a lot (it's expected for a device like this).
· It doesn't include batteries for the remote! :mad:

Although I've only had it for a few minutes, in general it does its job; in a noisy and inefficient way, but it does its job.

Si, unfortunately it has become more of a community where copy/pasting a question… it's not a reference forum and there are days when there are no new posts.

For me those users are not part of the community. They are just individuals who come by and then if they've seen you they don't remember. The HL community is at the bottom of the forums page where it says "Total of registered users who have visited us today". Most of them read but don't participate and one of the goals is to get them active again because I know they have a lot to contribute and they are the ones who can take this site to a new level.

In addition to the more veteran users it is necessary for new people to join who are part of the community. The truth is that all those who enter, register, ask questions and then leave are users who are not interesting to me. But they are inevitable so that some of them, someday, decide to stay and become part of the community.

I think the first step is to make a front page similar in content to TechPowerUP which is linked to its forum and community… as well as its surveys and a summary of new discussion posts, most popular threads, latest drivers... in fact the front page entries are published in the forum but are displayed differently as if it were a news portal and then the comments are the same... that is, the front page shows the forum without the aspect of a forum.

This is my goal but as I said in another thread, it's something I can't do alone. I have a limited time with which I can publish two, three or at most four entries a week. More people need to get involved.

Well, gaming depends, the little word obviously means more money, but for example, in laptops, it cost me to find something I liked to play, I looked for normal computers but with good components, cooling, keyboard and such for gaming, and in the end, only the ones with the label convinced me, whereas years ago, when I had my toshiba that looked normal but had components up to par to indulge in the vice and I saved some euros, in other components that are not laptops, like peripherals, I do see a lot of nonsense, they put in bright colors and 4 stickers on many and run away.
For example, the last nonsense I did and I won't do again, I bought a razer ouroboros and it's the biggest rip-off I've suffered, it cost about 130€ and I don't notice any difference with a good logitech of 50€, but where I see more abuse is in the sound, you see each crime.

Although Intel may seem very far from AMD, in reality, in addition to major advances such as Tri-Gate and improvements in its iGPU, they have also had several important failures, both in their microprocessors and chipsets (instructions that do not work well, processors that bend, SATA controllers that degrade...).
