@cobito it is clear that the weak point of the NUC was the damn integrated Intel, this monstrosity is the logical evolution of the desktop with the obvious disadvantage of not being able to update anything other than the RAM and SSD. It is ideal for being able to make a console PC to play in the living room, but for now, lacking the price, I would not get too excited, especially seeing the new Xbox and at the price it comes out I doubt it will compete with it.

My biggest reluctance is that if I spend more than 600€ on a PC I want it to last me a few years and as the CPU lasts longer than the graphics card it would be impossible to update it and prolong its useful life...

A genius?, a despot?. Two things are clear, the level of the results and that there are many ways to say the same thing without insulting people.

I compare this to oil: when a surplus is expected, before putting it on the market and the price drops, I hold it in the silo until the next campaign.

The funding goal has already been reached the funding goal has been reached. Now we just have to wait and see how this all materializes.

"No problem" had the CRTs... when they disappeared:
Flat screen, awesome contrast, refresh rate of 75 Hz at 1920*1024, an "input lag" that the top models of now would love to have... and a piece of ass that more than one would love to have.
I don't know about you, but every day I'm more clear that they sold us a bill of goods and we fell for it like fools.

I don't know about Linux, but under W7 64 it uses a bit more RAM than the previous version (about 2% more).
It's good that they include things like Pocket or the Firefox screen capture, which someone will surely find indispensable, but personally I would prefer it to look at Opera and incorporate its own free VPN service.

Well, at the very least, it is original to use a fractal-style environment.

@whoololon Well yes, the concept is not new. Let's see if I can find some time today and publish a post about Eagle Mode, a desktop environment that is half-3d half-fractal.
