Hello mates… well, sorry for the repost but I'd like to comment on it in case it could be useful to someone else... I had to update the motherboard drivers... I had the latest official ones but I put the next beta ones and it worked... I had bad experiences with the graphics but the image problem was solved with a driver update on the motherboard...

My name is Josué, I'm from the Canary Islands... my story with PCs began when I wanted to simulate (I had an x 360 and well for it there is only one simulator or the closest thing to it... and a "good" steering wheel compatible...)
So I switched to PC to simulate, I bought a G27 and there it is collecting dust, I got hooked on abf3 and now it turns out that I'm a "BF3 mp addict" to the point of changing graphics and looking at reviews, changing hard... xD (note that I don't know much about it but anyway...)

Well, there's my present and the solution to the problem in case anyone has had it... from now on I'll be more often here to bore you...

Sobre Tegra 3, es el primer chip medio decente de la saga, pero por más que mejoran, los integradores siguen sin ver nada superior en calidad / precio a otros suministradores de ARM. Aunque consigue contratos de mucho impacto publicitario con Microsoft, Audi, etc … Hablar de la generación anterior de consolas, es hablar de ~2007, de tiempos de las GeForce 8000 y Radeon HD3000, y no pretendo remontarme tanto en el tiempo. ferelxyx, the comparisons I made against a GTX 780 showed a tie, the difference is null in Metro 2034.

I live in Paraguay, friend, but as I said above, I prefer to bring it from Amazon and pay a little more than to wait for a company here to bring it today I'm going to get two GTX 780s to make an SLI, I think they would perform super well.

Regarding the GTX 790, it is a myth and a fake, I don't believe that news, besides there is no official news on the Nvidia website, and I hope it will be in the not so near future, as it would not be worth launching several GPUs in such a short time, it is better to wait a while so that a new range comes out with more options and improvements incorporated.

Look, according to what my motherboard says, it's compatible with 3Dvision, but I couldn't find it in the list of compatible NVIDIA 3DTv Play. And now that I got it, when I try to install it, it says it can't find a compatible graphics card... ¬¬
Maybe I'll have to buy a new one. I hope I don't spend more money and that it still doesn't work.

El problema es que en mi Maximus V Gene meter dos gráficas pegadas es complicado, máxime cuando los modelos mejorados suelen exceder los dos slots. Por eso he buscado una solución dual. Comentar que ya he conseguido arrancar todo el equipo, no sin bastantes problemas, y empezaré a instalar los juegos... Os mantengo informados!!. Un saludo! también hacia tiempo que no te veía, a ver que tal te sale esa 7990, parecen graficas bastante grandes, al menos en largo. @rulandu: gracias por los test Jotole! como te lo curras! Pues si que tengo que bajar detalles. Si veoque tengo que bajar mucho, a veces me lo pienso y lo enchufo en el proyector. 4GB de consumo ?! dios mio que locura. Miedo me da, y como dice Fjavi, mas aún con las nuevas consolas a la vista. Hombre con el triway veo que se defiende muy bien el bicho ante huesos duros com crysis. A saber por eso como escalan, con 2 debe haber mucha diferencia? Otra es que tienes un 3930k, yo de momento voy con el 2500k. NO se si me quedaría corto.. Cual es esa plataforma sorpresa?!? Intrigado estoy, a ver si hay diferencias significativas al cambiar la plataforma. Y con los bloques de agua que tal? Estoy viendo el hilo de ultramod, y veo unas temperaturas en full brutales. Madre mia! 34º!!! Tepermita jugar mas con las frecuencias o algun tipo de OC, o simplemente es temperatura. Es otro punto que dudo, si tambien pasarlas por agua, o dejar solo la CPU como tengo ahora. salu2 P.D como cuesta encontrar wallpapers de esa resolución Jejejee, No hay de que…..!! Vamos por partes, como dijo Jack el Destripador.......xD. Las Titanes escalan muy bien, y eso que aún estan en su salida y no hay drivers. Pero escala muy bien. Así que para un Sli, divide esos resultados entre 3, y calcula 2. Para mi gusto son pocas, para jugar en Ultra ojo, si bajas detalles con dos debes ir bien. Mas o menos es el doble de potencia de tu Sli, con el plus de los 6 Gb Vram Que sinceramente es el único sitio donde vas a hacer uso de tanta, en Surround. Sobre tener un 3930 y un 2500K, en estas resoluciones es totalmente igual. Si acaso se nota mejoras en minimos, pero van a ir los dos procesadores iguales. Lo único por lo que tengo un 3930, es porque soy usuario de 3/4 gpu´s y eso lo gestiona mejor un 3930, aunque la Rampage IV con ivy, va mejor segun comentan, no he probado eso. Te dejo algunas imagenes de unas pruebas que hice, [image: crysiswarheadk.jpg] i7 3930 5760 x 1080 mismos settings AVG 53.10- MIN 44.19 Fps [image: dirt3nr.jpg] [image: metro2033g1.jpg] i7 3930 5760 x 1080 mismos settings AVG 46.68- MIN 10.01 Fps Los test con el 3930 los hice posteriormente, y no modifiqué las graficas, pero como puedes ver la variación es insignificante. Ojo hablando de resoluciones como las nuestras. El procesdor es importante hasta cierto punto, a partir de ahí quien manda son las graficas. Eso me lleva a probar la plataforma que comento que no es otra que una placa Dual la Evga SR-2 sobre 1366 [image: evgasr2.jpg] Si estoy en lo cierto en mis elucubraciones, apenas tendré cambios en el rendimiento, veré en que afecta el pci 3,0 con el 2,0, y los buses 8x a 16x, que esta placa los lleva todos a 16x. Compararé 12 juegos, una prueba de cinebench, y los pesados 3Dmark, y Unigine…xD. A ver si esta noche empiezo a montar "eso". La RL, bajo mi opinión creo que es lo mejor que se le puede hacer a una tarjeta de este tipo. Imagino que las tarjetas estan mas que preparadas para verlas a 80º, pero yo desde que pasé la primera por agua, las remojo todas. Verlas a 34º, reduccion de ruido, y posibilidad de OC al maximo que te permite el componente. Mis titanes tienen las bios flasheadas, suben hasta los 1200 Mhz, y en juegos como el Crysis 3, se agradece ;). Esos test anteriores estan pasados con las graficas sin OC, para hacerlas lo mas fiel posible a lo que puede tener todos los usuarios, si las hubiera pasado a 1200, muchos no sabriais cual es el rendimiento real en juegos. Normalmente en los juegos que ves ahí que voy por encima de 60 no hago OC, pero en el C3, y Metro por ejemplo si juego con OC, y consigo de 15/20 fps mas, haciendolo totalmente jugable. Así que si vas a meter un par de titanes, sumale 200 mas y pasalas por agua, ya que tienes rl. Lo de los wallpapers si es complicado.........xD, tengo 3 o 4, pero no soy de cambiarlos mucho...... Vaya tocho me ha salido al final........xD. Un Saludo....

Creo que con la Vram te equivocas amigo Ruru, me explico.

Para manejar mas vram y poder meter filtros necesitas mas potencia tambien. Yo he tenido esta resolución hasta hace poco, primero fué con un Sli de 580, después un 4 way, cambié a un 3 way de 670 y probé, ( al igual que tú ) un 4 way de 670. En todas ellas iba corto de vram para 5760 x 1080p. Con las 580 tenía que desactivar el Aero, para no quedarme sin vram en algunos titulos. Pero tiraba sin filtros. y eso era con 1,5Gb

Al aplicar filtros, que es lo único que demanda mas vram en ese surround, estás haciendo que las tarjetas trabajen más y es entonces cuando te quedas sin potencia para mover los 3 monitores, con los filtros aplicados.

Por ejemplo ahora con las titanes, tengo vram de sobra, pero mi resolución es una barbaridad, muevo casi todo por encima de 80 fps, sin filtros. En el momento que aplico filtros, cae el rendimiento unos 20 fps, y vuelvo a quedarme sin potencia antes que sin vram.....................

No sé si me he explicado.................:ugly:

Tengo pensado explicar todo eso con imagenes cuando cree el hilo de 7680 x 1440p, pero por ahora estoy disfrutando como un niño chico... ;).

Te has explicado perfectamente, y que te voy a decir yo si ya has pasado por 3 generaciones en surround y multi gpu XD.
Es cierto que sin meter filtros a estas resoluciones casi que te comes los 2 gigas de vram, y si encima le metes filtros cae por todo rendimiento y ram........ como bien dices. Si no pasa nada para el mes que viene me quiero hacer de un sli de titanes y hacer la comparativa a los mismos detalles y resoluciones.

Es que ese motor de los GTA y Max Payne es un poco raro,el ultimo solo te deja subir opciones si detecta vram de sobra, pero posiblemente ya los 1080p no sean para un triSLI de 670, ya es una configuración para 1440p o 1600p como minimo, por eso al bajar resolución quizá el CPU no pueda dar muchos mas Frames.

Luego entre 3820 y 3930K veo poca diferencia la única diferencia seria que el K tiene mas multiplicador y se debería poder subir algo mas, aunque posiblemente en juegos como Crysis 3 si se noten los nucleos.

De todas formas los test de GTA IV o los episodios no sirven para comparar por que los SLI no trabajan bien y es un test solo para ver si se podrá jugar medianamente, no es realista, aunque el de los moteros si es una misión del juego, además con bastante acción, pero los otros deben ser del multijugador o quizá tomando por libre con el helicóptero, lo ideal siempre es un gameplay.

Es cierto que el max payne 3 no te deja poner todos los filtro que te de la gana, se limita a los gigas de vram que tengas…..
Intentare hacerla de nuevo en diferentes pantallas haber si cambia algo. Voy a hacer una comparativa del GTA IV, ya por saber el framerate que puedo alcanzar XD.

It's the kind of hardware that I consider absurd, but it does good publicity for Asus. In 5 years things will stay as they are unless AMD continues to increase the TDP of its CPUs and we have to use liquid nitrogen hehehe, for a simple reason the manufacturing size of the micros will continue to decrease and will make the consumption continue to hover around the current one. Another thing is special equipment like these graphics that come with two GPUs glued together and overclocked to the max... logically they will consume a lot now and in the future and it is possible that factory-included liquid cooling kits will continue to be generalized.

I already tell you, I've done that with all of them, Windows 8, Seven and even some Vista.

In Win 8, the GTX 295 drivers go terribly from 306 onwards and you can tell there are compatibility issues or who knows what, and that's the unfortunate part.

I've tested the card on other PCs and even in a store, with mixed results, in some it crashes and in others it doesn't, always depending on the OS and the driver model.

Look today, I took and installed Seven ultimate 64 on another hard drive, only drivers 314, plugins and libraries and a couple of games, and not a single glitch, without touching the fan or anything, all ok.

I think that when I previously tested the 295 with Win 7, drivers 314 didn't exist, and it's likely that's why it crashed too and that Nvidia has fixed it with the latest ones.

In Win 8 all versions, which is what I have at the moment, both 32 and 64, if you install drivers higher than 306.....you go back to the blue screens.

I have no choice, I have to come to the conclusion that, it's the drivers, basically because the card works with certain drivers and not with others within Windows 8.

So finally I went back to my Win 8 enterprise and left the drivers 302, which after a few hours of testing with Rfactor, Shift2, Resident 6 or Fifa, work well even without touching the fan....

If you put other drivers higher than 306......you need to turn up the fan, so it doesn't crash, and others directly just freeze.

So thanks to everyone for the cable, the issue is solved, by the way, the card's bios, was the last existing one.

The board didn't shut down anymore. Well, to be more precise, it didn't do what I told you about. I tried the PC at a friend's place with a 19-inch widescreen monitor for several hours and nothing happened, but only for a little while in Metro 2033, then in Dirt 3 and Alan Wake for a while, all at a resolution of 1360x768, which is low compared to those who play with large monitors. Then, after several hours playing PES, I saw that nothing happened. That game is very light.
As I was told, it was either the power supply that was insufficient, something wrong with the board, or even the temperature. If it was something like that, it only happened in a heavy game like Metro 2033. After those two times it shut down, it didn't happen again, but I was left with the doubt about the video card doing that. It's all a mystery.
Today, with a little more heat, the card reached a maximum of 60 degrees and the fan is louder. Reading on Google, many people say that XFX cards are hotter and that other manufacturers like Sapphire or MSI are better. Well, I already bought the XFX and it's the one I have now, and I can't complain. It performs well except for what happened. I have no complaints. I play everything at maximum with my monitor, obviously.

To be honest, when it happened, it was sudden. I didn't notice the game freezing or slowing down. It was running well, which is why it surprised me what happened.
Today I tried Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City for a while at 1280x1024 with everything at maximum on my 17-inch monitor and nothing happened. It moves really well. Obviously, I know I play at low resolutions and my monitor is very small, but that game must demand something from the HD 7770. But I don't know if as much as Metro 2033.
I did see that Resident Evil says a HD 6950 is recommended, which is much bigger than my card, but it's probably for playing at higher resolutions.
