Good morning. In the end I am going to go for a micro-atx. I have found at a good price an Asrock H77 PRO4-M whose characteristics are much more "pro" and that is within my budget. Although the case will be a little bigger (type Lian Li Pc-v355) and the price goes up a little, it still compensates me.

    Thanks to all.

    Best regards.

Wow, the amount of sailor jokes this sequence has generated by subtitling it.
And the graphics... I already told you that I personally wouldn't buy it since I already use all the VRAM I have. But for someone who runs applications that use around 3GB, I admit it's a great graphics card.
But anyway, I'm sure once it's working you'll be clapping your hands, as overall it's a very good device. :sisi:

If you disassemble and sell everything you will get more, but it will cost you more time and shipping costs (especially the box). If you sell it whole the value would be around 500€ (then what you ask for or haggle for apart). I sold mine a while ago that was similar a little more expensive (with a 560 but SSD 256, coolermaster power supply, lianli case…) and I sold it for 600€ because I am family.

What depreciates the most is the graphics card, cpu, motherboard, if you sell that now the better the better and the rest is not going to keep losing value, only the RAM which prices fluctuate and with the DDR4 they might start to go down to liquidate.

Man, you have to keep in mind that, apart from the micro, what raises the price the most is the graphics card.
As is, with the 8320 and everything on the list, it would be a pretty versatile machine for the budget it has.
It's true that it's closer to 800, but I think it's pretty tight.
That said, without a monitor it's about 95 € less, so I think it already balances out without having to touch anything else.
The source will have no problem moving all that.
Regarding the hard drive, if you need capacity, the mechanical one with 1 TB; if on the other hand you need something much faster, a 128 GB SSD comes out more or less the same.

I was between this one and the aerocool kcas 600w and everything I read was that between the two the tacens was more reliable, so I got this one.

So far it's going well, let's see how it behaves jeje.

I would go for an Intel Nuc with an i3, it's cheap, consumes little, takes up less space and you practically don't even have to assemble it.

It is true that there is also no BIG jump if you are not going for an x6 but wow, DDR4 right now is a steal. If anything, it would be an x6 2011 with DDR3.

With 100€ the best thing you can do is put the money in the piggy bank.

I hope the car problems were not serious!!

    Best regards!

Well, in the end I had to change a head gasket with 60,000 km and 4 years of car ownership... €1000 repair. Renault quality they said.

So for now I've left the issue a bit on hold, between this and Christmas coming up it's a bit of a mess...:llorar: let's see if after the holidays I can get back to it :wall:

The sound card thing is because the future owner is trying to be a dj :troll:, does music sessions and stuff… but I think that without a sound card I could do the same.

The idea is that the pc has the longest possible life in the future, if a high investment is made in the graphics card it is so that it moves current games quite well of course, with what you tell me the GTX 770 would be ruled out.

It would not be a big deal to delay the purchase for a month, as long as the performance was much better and the price lower.

    @whoololon:

Man, you must have taken a while to get your hands on that machine.;D
If you go for some X5355, I've seen them refurbished for about 70€, and new for more or less double on amazon.
The thing about cheap and expensive with respect to machines, well, it depends on what you're looking for and above all, on what you're willing to spend.
First, don't compare a workstation with a pre-assembled PC "standard" where everything (or most) is integrated and the priority is to be cheap (which is what I assume you're talking about).
At least I advise against buying that type of… computers.:ugly:

    Thanks for your response, whoololon.

My doubt in general is if in this offer, for example:

DELL Precision 490/690 Matched Pair Quad Core 2.66GHz X5355 XEON CPU Upgrade kit | eBay

the processors have not been'stolen', for example, by some employee of a large company, removing the second processor from a PC, or something like that (it doesn't have to be a spectacular robbery, just that time passes, the guy removes the second processor and nobody notices).

So much time has passed and things have improved so much that those prices as refurbished or second-hand seem correct to me.

I say this because if I want to upgrade through dell, it costs me more than a thousand euros each (if there are any). Which seems like a scam after 7 years, but okay.

It's great for me. I spend a hundred and a half euros and I already have my eight cores, although old.

    Regards. And thanks.

I'll move your thread to the appropriate subforum.

Regarding your way of writing, if you say something like

    @Cyber:

perdon x for the spelling mistakes, regards!

it shows a certain level of carelessness. Please make the effort to write correctly. Don't write like you're on a mobile, don't omit letters and use punctuation marks. Otherwise, almost no one will help you because of the extra effort it takes to understand what you're putting.

Since you're new, I suggest you read the rules of Hardlimit. On the other hand, it's highly recommended that you read the Netiquette, a list of recommendations for doing things right in virtual public places. Finally, this thread will give you many clues on how to fit in here.

Welcome to Hardlimit and good luck with your problem.

I am of the opinion that CPU/RAM and GPU should go hand in hand, especially the CPU-GPU duo. If you are thinking of changing that graphics card (although I already know that the 560 still gives you gaming and is better than what the intel hd4600 will give you), then an i7 is worth it, but if what you have in mind is to leave that graphics card, and what you are going to dedicate the machine to is gaming, then a normal i5 will kill it.

But in the end, the decision is yours.

Edit: It also depends on whether you are a follower of new titles or if you are already one of those who only use the archive ;D
