    Yes, better finish assembling and try giving a little to the editing. I doubt you need more power for the use you mentioned.
    If it falls short we will continue configuring something more powerful.

    I like this configuration, but my budget went to hell
    Mother Asus H170-m Plus - $2750 - $109 shipping
    Intel I5 6400 - $3700 - $90 shipping
    Intel I5 6500 - $4250 - $90 shipping
    Ram 8gb Ddr4 2400mhz 2x4gb Gskill Ripjaws 5 - $1050 - $90
    Funte Seasonic S12ii 520w - $1750 - free shipping
    **Total: $9539 - $10100

    **Also for now I could save the power supply and put the one I currently have, a Sentey ERP 400-ss, but I don't trust it much...

    For that computer I would go for an 5820K, because I don't think paying what the Z170s cost is profitable.
    And for that ssd I would get a m.2 2280, with 4x4gb 3200 and that graphics card is now a toy. I would go for what Espinbeteenbolas says: 480 or 1060 if there are no bitches and a 1070 if you can stretch.
    Power supply considering the consumption these micros and graphics cards have now you are more than enough: we are talking about about 200w in motherboard and micro and other things, and 200w from the graphics card.

    To put that micro in trouble, you would have to use an Nvidia SLI 1070 - 1080. In some games I have read that the micro can be put at more than 80-90%. But as I indicate, for that you should use a very powerful graphic configuration.

    With the 480, even though AMD graphics are more dependent on the micro than Nvidia, it will not bottleneck your micro. You have a very good micro, and if you are a very gamer and have extra money, then invest in more powerful graphics. Anyway, the 480 moves most games to Full HD very well, and many games to higher resolution as well, so enjoy the graphics and the equipment for a good time before considering a change.

    Thanks, Whoololon.

    Of the options you mention, I think the following could be a good choice, with features very similar to the Ripjaws:

    Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 16GB 2x8GB CL9

    http://hardzone.es/app/uploads/2015/02/Tama%C3%B1o.jpg

    They come with a case, but it barely protrudes a few mm at the top. I hope it doesn't touch the heatsink. If it does, then I'll opt for the Aegis that don't have a case.

    I would love to be able to buy from Amazon too, but if I were to order any product from them, just for the handling fees when receiving it here, I could be forced to pay up to 50€ and sometimes more, because with private transport companies the amounts are more random than with Correos. This paradoxically means that we can end up paying more just for this absurd and abusive bureaucratic management than for the product itself with its shipping and taxes included.

    For this reason we can only buy from PCC. Perhaps some company also offers some kind of similar solution, but I don't know.

    Regards.

    Gracias

    Well, I improved something in startup time but since I'm a genius I infected it with viruses :eek: :eek:
    It was very easy
    I removed the antivirus to install the norton that came with the motherboard, although I'm more of an AVG user and in the meantime I downloaded the official AutoCAD 2017
    But since I'm very smart and I have 50 megs of download speed... I downloaded what I shouldn't have
    I messed up ? ? ?
    Now I've reinstalled it and everything is ok
    It even recognizes the disk that was out

    Well, I think for now I'll keep it. I'll "hold on", because the truth is that it's going pretty well, a couple of years and then I'll try a low-end i7. The next thing will be the video card because the hd 5750 gets pretty hot, (in winter after cleaning and thermal paste it goes to 80º with the fan on automatic, in summer it will be horrible).

    @krampak:

    I just looked at the link that Espinetenbolas posted and a question comes to mind… what is the use of a Titan X? I see that in both games and SolidWorks (for example) it performs the same as a 980Ti. I thought that in the professional category it would be closer to the Quadro range.

    It doesn't have to… the M6000 is a Titan X but in a professional version... the Titan X is not and cannot be considered a professional graphics card even though it has a lot of power and is "expensive"... table of equivalences:

    AMD R9 280 -> FirePro W7100
    AMD R9 290 -> FirePro W8100
    AMD R9 290X-> FirePro W9100

    nvidia 780-> Quadro K4200
    Titan Z-> Quadro K6000

    nvidia 980-> Quadro M5000
    Titan X-> Quadro M6000

    What is usually done is to equip the top-of-the-range ones with registered memory and double-precision calculation capacity (although nVidia covers it because it sells the Tesla separately so you spend the euros twice).

    Also, all the professional ones have the capacity to output 10bit color... something that a normal graphics card never has.

    In essence, from the point of view of using professional applications, it is more worthwhile to go for a mid-range or low-range graphics card (between 150 and 400€) than to get a normal graphics card of 600 or 1000€ that can also give you problems with crashes... it's one thing to play and another to work.

    And of course, that is paid for and that's why with applications that require optimization, a top-of-the-range graphics card performs poorly compared to a professional graphics card that costs half or less... not to mention a graphics card of 2000 or 6000€ :troll:

    Of course, one must also explain that depending on what one models, there is no need to go for this type of hardware or make large expenditures but if you don't have it and you need it, you have a very hard time working... and I say this from my own experience with very complex assemblies, a low-end professional graphics card that didn't give more of itself, poor thing. :wall:

    @whoololon:

    You don't need to reinstall the OS when you change your graphics card, particularly on Windows because of the PnP issue.
    It just detects the new hardware when you start up and installs the generic one, then you install the one from the disk (which I recommend you don't lose sight of) or the one from the nVidia website.
    As for the memory issue, well, the "memory remap" used to activate it regardless of the RAM installed during the assembly (they told me to do it that way and I got into the habit), so first make sure whether it's activated or not, in case it's not, you have to change it and reinstall. This function allows a 64-bit OS to access all the installed memory.

    Hello!!!

    In fact now that the memory has arrived, I've checked that the BIOS won't even let you use all 4GB without the MEMORY REMAP.

    That said, the computer is a bullet, I'd dare to say that when it comes to booting up, it takes less time than the I5 hehe

    Thanks for the recommendations and help

    Thanks again for your responses.
    In the end I opted for the "future-proof" option and the possibility of putting 64gb of RAM, which Photoscan gobbles up memory like crazy (I've seen configurations with 768gb of RAM to handle thousands of photos with said program).
    With the i7 the CPU price went up by more than 60€, and it didn't compensate for the 37€ I saved with the DDR3 RAM. Besides, looking at Photoscan benchmarks, the CPU is not as important as the RAM and the graphics, so I save that money to build a future SLI of gtx 660, now that they are cheap.
    As Espinete said, if I see that with the Skylake Refresh it's worth changing the CPU, I will, and if not.. long live the 6600k, as the change with the q6600 will be more than considerable.
    I just have to thank you and apologize for the dizziness! I'll let you know how the new machine runs! ?

    See you soon!!!

    Well, I finally found the problem when I got home. It was a digital signature conflict on the hard drives, between the two Western Digital MyBook. When I accessed the device manager, I saw that it recognized it but was disabled for that reason, and doing a quick search, it seems to be a common issue in Windows 7.

    Signature Collision: Problem with hard drives in Windows 7

    In any case, that last option you mentioned about the back panel I was already considering yesterday. You are referring to this: DeLOCK USB 3.0 19-pin - 2 x USB 3.0-A. I also saw them with PCI Express connection instead of 19 pins to F_USB30, but I don't know if there is a difference in transfer speed between both connections: Sharkoon USB3.0 Host Controller Card PCI Express - PCI Express Card. Especially because, since I have to place an order, I don't want to have to pay shipping costs in two places.

    Edit: Well, after researching a bit, the answer is yes. The bandwidth of PCI-E 1x is much lower than that of USB 3.0, although slightly higher than that of USB 2.0, so I will reserve this expansion to look for it in a physical store.
