    You need to give more details about your setup. If you have an integrated AMD graphics you have a (bad) chance. If it's an Intel PC, you're in trouble.

    The bad thing about this new "weather balloon" for data collection by Nvidia, which includes all kinds of personal information including email addresses (Nvidia, do you really need my email to know if the driver has failed?) and which we are unfortunately getting used to because the main services (from operating systems, browsers, etc.) do them, is that all that information traveled unencrypted.
    So happily, that any hacker could have intercepted that information and made a fortune at the expense of the Big Brother games of the unconscious of Nvidia.

    @Rules said in Problem with sapphire r9 270x:

    If what you want is to stress the source, download the 3DMark or the burnIn Test or something that makes all components work at 100%, not just the CPU, since it seems that you get an idea, an i7 can eat 100W, but a graphics card can eat 200W.

    The thing is that with the broken graphics card, neither Windows nor Ubuntu starts up, I can't use any benchmark

    It is bloody yes, cobito already exposed it in his day and it really leaves EVGA in the dirt. I'm not going to make more blood, I already said what I had to say about it, but really both the memory and the VRM don't get all the love they should when it comes to putting a heatsink on a card. Five or six years ago it wouldn't matter much, but with the frequencies and wattages that are being worked with now, one would have to reconsider if the layout of both components on the PCB and their corresponding dissipation are really adequate. I'm referring to air coolers, not blocks.

    @kynes If I read something, it was similar to the Radeon ProSSG, but based on Vega 10.
    Of course I suppose it will be for industrial use, in fact I think we will always wonder how the best game of the moment will run on one of those beasts.

    I wouldn't rule out the possibility that the graphics card you've bought isn't working, if you could, try it on another computer.

    @Espinetenbolas:

    A 6700K at 4.5ghz is like a 2500K at 5.5-6ghz at least... you have to look at how the CPU is pulling or if the OC you have applied is not stable and is giving you performance problems.

    That's what I meant, that your numbers match what it apparently has to yield, perhaps I was misunderstood with the 6700k at 4.5Ghz.

    We'll have to see the performance of the **GTX1050**, because the guys at **nVIDIA** tend to go overboard with cutting.

    Here's the example on the **GTX1060**, which in the version with less memory (3GB), they've also removed other things, and you can really notice the drop <:(

    Cheers!

    Hey, Antonio, cuánto tiempo, cómo te va tío??

    Ok, gracias por la info. Pensaré en ello. Realmente creía que este micro daba más de sí, jaja. Tengo que echarle un vistazo al tema del OC, porque lo cierto es que me he limitado a subirlo un poco con el EPU-6 Engine que viene de serie con la placa. Tal vez me consiga 8 GB chusqueros por ahí y pruebe a ver qué saco.

    Mil gracias, en serio.

    Good evening, first from the 1060 onwards you have more than enough for fullHD and in AMD idem from the 460 or better the 470 onwards. Without OC you have a good team. And you won't have any bottlenecks for now. You could even check if your equipment supports faster RAM and put it in. With that you would gain a lot. Right now the equipment that does have bottlenecks are the AMDs like mine and in my case I have already solved it. And if you have a small case, look for a 460 or something that doesn't have extra power supply. This way you save yourself having to change the case and so on. Almost all the latest mid-range and high-end are huge.

    Thanks for your response too, but I think I'll stick with my RX480, it's a future-proof card with dirext 12 and vulkan, with an excellent price.

    I don't want Nvidia with Pascal, directx 11 is not the future and it's already over, and besides it has an expiration date when it comes to improving its drivers, so its cards have a very short life span in terms of support.

    AMD has improved a lot and in my honest opinion, I'll stick with the rx480 of 8gb.

    Greetings!!!!!!!!

    @Espinetenbolas:

    If you lack power, don't do Crossfire… sell this card and buy a GTX1070 or a GTX 1080... multiGPU inventions have proven to be little or nothing practical for many reasons... and more so with the existence of much more powerful card models.

    • 1. I come from another post saying the same thing. You have a balanced team, to play at Full HD even at higher resolution less at 4K. The 480 just came out so you just bought it. Enjoy it before considering a change. And if you see that because you use 4K, several monitors etc, you need more power… it's time to dig into your pocket and go for a Nvicia like the one the colleague indicates, the 1070 - 1080. And for me, they have come out at a price of robbery at gunpoint, so I would think very carefully before buying them, although everyone is free to dispose of their money as they want.

    Configurations of two or more graphics cards depend a lot on the game. In some games two graphics can approach 80% more performance. But in other games or you gain very little, or it will only give you problems. Add to that problems with temperatures, the need for a quality power supply and quite a few W that will easily cost you 100€ or more, the higher consumption of the equipment = more expensive electricity bill, etc.

    Personally, I only recommend using two or more graphics cards if it is done with high-end graphics cards and that is a lot of money in hardware. The AMD 480 performs similar to the Nvidia 970 GTX. Without being top of the range, it is a very successful graphics card, so enjoy it.

    Well, I think that as long as they stay above 60fps in full HD, half the planet will be more than enough. With the prices of monitors...
    DX12 is still green. And like everything in this world, the first versions are for testing and to create demand.

    Well, now it's my turn to post the graphics of this card. But let me rest, I've been working 12 hours a week and I'm pretty tired to post the graphics of the tests I did.
    In a completely subjective way, I think the graphics are wonderful, for cost, performance and consumption.
    I have the data of Titanfall all in ultra, the Heaven test also in ultra, and Tom Clancy the same, all in 1080p, I don't have a monster monitor like javisoft's.
    Thanks to jsavisoft for lending us the graphics for a few days so we can try new things ?

    PD: And what a shame I didn't have Doom with Vulkan to put it here.
