If CERN is involved, I wouldn't be surprised if they used useful data. The LHC produces 300 Gb/s of data in its detectors, although subsequently the information that may be interesting is selected and the rate is reduced by several orders of magnitude.

Well, I still use FF, I stick with its firebug add-ons. With its security, even though they say it's below Chrome. And among other things, because the explorer in its latest version, I don't know why, but it looks a lot like FF... (in design)

A wise decision if you want to have a competitive market. The mobile issue is different, but on PC some of the most popular free applications are free software.

It seems to be the first step towards high-capacity SSDs and the price drop of current ones, they just need to solve the reliability problems of current SSDs.
