I'll watch the video tomorrow, I have to save 3g data, but I'll make comments like abuelo cebolleta ;D.
I can't remember if I started with Mandrake 7.1 or 8.0/8.1, what is certain is that it was thanks to this forum and the great movement that was here in the early years about this system. Today we are no longer so divided between Windows and Linux, but most of us have used one or the other at some point, in my case almost 50% and in others it leans much more towards one of the two, more towards Windows than Linux as always.
Since then everything has changed a lot, Linux is more popular although the usage share has not improved much, but in many schools Linux was not even known and now it is almost always touched in computer science modules. I used KDE, I stopped liking it and preferred Gnome, and now I don't like Gnome either, I'm more of a Cinnamon or Mate (they are more classic Gnome than Gnome). Before you had silly games, now I have Steam with Civilization V native, without Wine or bagpipes. The driver issue is clearly something that was and will continue to be a problem, but it has improved a lot.
If something hasn't changed is that I liked Linux and I still like it, and I see that Windows 10 is not going to change this, rather confirm it.
