    @radge:

[…]In principle this satisfies me a Western Digital LIVE […]

So I had thought about a Western Digital Studio […]

I was already surprised, because those two models are media players, while for a personal cloud storage, the closest thing WD has is the MyBook series.
    Sorry for the misunderstanding. ?

That's like asking in cars "displacement vs road" which will run faster: a 1,800 engine on a highway or a 2,000 on a national road? The answer is that it has nothing to do, it's like mixing bacon with speed.

About the revolutions of the disk it passes like the example of the displacement, a smaller engine sometimes develops more horsepower than a bigger one, so you have to look at the HP. Today there are disks that go to fewer revolutions and yet they perform as much or more than others of more speed, so what really matters is the performance, you have to look at each model and see how it performs.

About SATA 2 or 3, the difference you have in wikipedia, and as you will see for a mechanical disk it gives you exactly the same. And PATA as there are different versions it will depend on which one, which by the way also appears in wikipedia in case you are interested in knowing what it is.

There are very basic concepts that, although they are not explained, just pointing them out like Sylver does should be enough.
Of course, to each their own, but since we have come this far, the most logical thing is to let ourselves be advised.
It has already been indicated that a disk, from a certain size, is not as cost-effective in terms of capacity. In fact, it increases the price per MB.
In addition, the time it takes for maintenance operations (unless we create partitions of reasonable size) and the amount of data we will lose in the event of a failure...
I can only agree with Sylver, as I prefer two 1 TB disks to one 4 TB disk, and I also think that these tera-disks (for the average user) respond more to a fashion than a need...
But as I said, to each their own. ; )

Hello! Thank you for your help! What I'm looking for is a mouse, I had looked at the T620, not for the gestures (which is always good) but because it didn't have buttons. I've had several mice, I don't remember what the first ones broke down from, but the last two, they broke down from the same thing, the right key (and that's the key that's used the least) one was the mouse from the Logiteth LX710 pack and this last one was given to me as a gift, it's the Microsoft Habu which is supposed to be good, it's made for gaming (although I've used it little for that)

I was between those two mice the T400 and the T620, to change, and have a touch area or the whole thing, and my doubts were, which one would suit me better? and the case of the T620, if you can hold it by resting your hand on the mouse, leaving your fingers resting or would you have to keep them in the air?

    Thank you very much!

Psché, the sides of my old tower had the same problem, in summer it seemed like they weren't there, and in winter they became visible again. ;D
Speaking of which, I hope it "breathes" well, because it costs a lot it could even whistle.
No, it's "cool", and I suppose it will have its audience.

Change the cable for something like this:

It's just one piece, the image shows the same piece on each side. As you can see it has a DVI output to connect it to the graphics, and VGA to connect the monitor cable. It's cheap and usually doesn't fail.

If you see that it doesn't work, try installing the drivers for the new graphics first, for this use the integrated graphics (as you say it works for you, by VGA-VGA) and once the drivers are installed, try connecting the graphics, use the adapter I put in the photo and start to see if it works.

hello, that problem is either the reader or recorder you use or you have some bad memory
get a recorder on loan or buy one and test it, if it's not the recorder you return it
then try removing and inserting the memories cleaning the sockets of the same and if it continues to fail remove one and test it and then if it fails change it for the one you removed,

Personally, I don't like them too much for daily use because they are noisier and harder, logically, but they have other advantages. However, the price seems exaggerated to me for what it finally gives, which is durability. For gaming, a backlit keyboard with programmable keys would be a better option for my taste and for even less price.

    @garfield:

Better to have it. In that type of equipment, even though the cooling is good, it is advisable. Especially if you are going to have it working all day.
I have no idea about the materials, but they solve your doubt when you call.

Again you solve the doubt, thank you very much

I would look at what codecs the movies are ripped with, because even if they are.avi they don't have to be in a format that can be played by the player.

I was going to tell you that if you are interested in second-hand, I saw this one in another forum for 95 euros.

but looking for a comparison, I came across this:
Define XL Cooling Performance | bit-tech.net
according to this, the best ones are:
    SilverStone FT02R-W
    Antec Dark Fleet DF-85
    regards.
P.D. As buying and selling is prohibited in this forum, if you are interested, I will send you the address of the other forum by PM.
P.D 2 and no, it is not mine, nor is it from any of my acquaintances.

    Hello and welcome

If your power supply is this:

There is no problem, it will provide enough power.

Another issue is the age of that power supply, if it is very old and has many hours of use, if it is still under warranty, etc. Mostly because if the warranty has expired a long time ago and you have used it a lot in another computer, it might have little life left.

    Best regards
