    Briconsejo: never skimp on the power supply, it is largely responsible for ensuring that your components do not fail if something goes wrong. Therefore, never, never buy a white label or even strange brands on eBay if you do not want to always have a nagging doubt.

    As they tell you, the NOX Urano are usually decent and very worth considering in terms of quality-price ratio. In fact, I am currently assembling one and I must say, I am very happy with it (I bought it for that price or so).

    The connector is VGA, the monitor works well from the laptop for half an hour or more …

    Right now, after half an hour of perfect operation, the "dance" has returned, the micro temperature is 40º. I had to check it from the bios, since neither everest nor speedfan give me the correct temperature (they give it in negative, -5º).

    I love this kind of post and even more considering that I already have 39 chestnuts :llorar: and you can already talk about old computers or consoles… I know them all :ugly:

    Thank you very much for this kind of post.

    I venture that the hard drive may be damaged, or even the RAM, which is where the data that is being executed from your pendrive is stored, and the fact that the characters come out altered may be due to a failure in some module.

    What I am sure of is that the fact that you installed windows 7 on NTFS format cannot be the logical cause of any problem, given that windows 7 necessarily requires that the partition on which it is installed is formatted in NTFS.

    Greetings

    @Yorus:

    It won't be that one that used to be blue with a finite cover and a display of only one line of text? That's how my sister's was and my Nokia 5110 had a big screen next to it.

    It was this one, I liked it back in the day, then I moved to a t28 I think very thin XD

    I've got the geek vein and I'm making the similar list looking for images and videos of the gadget in question with a brief description. Let's see if I can finish it and publish it here.

    Hello Nemo, thank you for your help, but you can't assign letters to a disk that contains unformatted partitions. There are programs like EASEUS Partition Recovery that will recover the partition table of your disk, whatever they are, and be formatted as they are, as long as Windows starts up without problems and your partition, but that's not my case. My partition table is of the GPT type. At the moment I had to acquire a program called R-Studio, made just for forensic analysis. I'll tell you how it goes.

    Thanks for the clarification.

    The velociraptor passed by, but if they break…

    I'll put the 256 gig SSD, in principle it's just the OS, the Adobe suite, some program like Vegas Pro and games (not 30 xD, some to play but once I finish a game I'll uninstall it to put another one if I have enough space).

    And as a secondary one to store things, the 2/3 T one and that's it. If in a while I see that I'm running out of space on the SSD, I'll add a 500 gig mechanical one and move the programs (Adobe and all that) there (Adobe and all that) which once loaded are supposed to need mainly RAM, and the games and the OS on the SSD.

    The front panel is out of the question, the recorder wanted one and a blu-ray player but I'll skip the second one for now.

    I'll take note of the power supply, I'll look for one of 700w more or less and enough.

    The motherboard thing, I'm in doubt, but I see a good option to remove those 100 and put them towards a better graphics card.

    Another question that has arisen: http://www.hardlimit.com/dispositivos-de-almacenamiento/t-disco-duro-principal-cual-pongo-76827.html#post561388

    You can only functionally create the swap from the bootloader, otherwise it will not be used ?

    Thanks amd125, so nothing would happen and it would even be better if the F.A. fan was facing down. Well, I'll change it but let's leave it for another day, maybe tomorrow :D, since I just installed the micro with the heatsink and what a mess I had, with so many F.A. cables crossing through there, anyway, in the end everything went well, I started the pc, it detected the micro, apparently everything is fine, we'll see how it performs, for now I don't plan to do oc on the graphics card or cpu, since I have no idea how to operate with it without anything strange happening. I'll leave you a few pictures, as well as temperatures and voltages.
    Thank you very much for your advice, I don't know what would happen without you, with how clumsy I am.:D

    @Twikzer:

    Ok, thanks for responding so quickly.
    So it would be a case equivalent to PCIe SSDs, right?

    I guess. It all depends on the run. HDMI 2.0 chips are starting to be put in everything, even in devices where 4k will never be used because they are produced in such quantities that they are cheap.

    If 4k screens were produced in the same quantity, they would also be very cheap, but for this to happen there has to be a large demand since setting up a plant to produce is very expensive. It is simpler, faster and cheaper to put an integrated one into production than a device with different elements that are more complex like a screen.

    This happens with everything. The other day I got into reading a computer magazine from 2000 and on the pages of ads, a store was promoting as a novelty the TFT screens for desktop computers. The size of the first screens was 15", they had a resolution of 1024x768 and their price was 95000 pesetas of the time (almost 600€ to which you would have to add inflation).

    Today only TFTs are sold, they can be found for just over 80€ and their performance is superior to the first ones that were sold. The only reason this happens is that today the whole market is focused on TFT, they have huge runs and that reduces costs a lot.

    In 10 or 12 years 4k screens will be mainstream devices that will be found for less than 100€ simply because they will be manufactured a lot.

    Just a few more notes.

    The SSD is ideal for the operating system and programs, but for videos, music, or data in general, a normal disk is usually used separately. Keep in mind that music doesn't need to load quickly, because its playback will always be slower than its transfer from the disk, and the same goes for video. However, the loading speed of the operating system and programs is very noticeable and improves spectacularly with an SSD.

    As for brands, there are many, but from 120Gb and up, they will all be really fast. Where you can find a decrease in performance is if the SATA ports on your motherboard are SATA I or even SATA II, since modern SSDs exceed the theoretical maximum speed provided by those ports, but not with SATA III, which is the ideal one.

    How is that PC's RAM? If it has little, it will be using the hard drive all the time.

    @boncoe:

    Well, that's it, my monitor is an LG Flatron of 21.2 inches and it doesn't have an HDMI input and I was thinking that if I buy one of those adapters that have a VGA and HDMI input so I can connect my graphics card, a GTX 760, will I notice a change in the image quality?
    Currently I have it connected with the VGA adapter from the graphics card directly to the monitor

    I had the same problem a few months ago, my monitor is an LG Flatron 22E I don't know what else, of 21.7'' and it only has a VGA input, the thing is that I bought a cable on ebay, on one side it has VGA (to the monitor) and on the other HDMI (to the graphics card), I thought it would improve the image, but no, it's NOT COMPATIBLE, the monitor says so, I tried another one in its case DVI-VGA, and the same thing.
    In my opinion, I think that you can't improve the image of the monitor with just a VGA input, it's possible as some say with a better cable, but anyway, I don't know.

    Greetings:D
