    The ASRock for OC are very good, they come with a very good preparation. Apart from that, it's what amd125 says, they were not very good a while ago, but nowadays they have improved, and how.

    Greetings

    Well, I got the Asrock xD

    The FM2s go up better but an AM3+ can be extended to an x8.

    You could also consider buying a dual core G2120 and a B75 Pro3. Some games will appreciate 4 cores but later on you can put together a 3570 with another 2x2GB and have a pretty good setup.

    I think you can recover it without soldering anything, just do what Asus says and insert the motherboard CD that already has a bios, and if it doesn't work easily with the CD, try with a floppy disk, I saw people easily recover those P5K because of corrupt bios.

    That's why the burner or floppy disk light is blinking, because it's looking for the bios file.

    I am answering myself.
    I saw this comparison of CPU performance with the game Crysis 2 and the Q6600 gives the E8500 a good beating.

    I will get the Q6600 which costs me 47 € which is a very good price.
    It will be accompanied by an Ati 5750 1 Gb.
    Thanks and goodbye.

    jajaja ya ves xD

    But the problem is already solved, I have simply increased the minimum RPMs a little, just enough so that it doesn't make noise and these days when it's a bit cool the temp has dropped to 39 degrees

    The motherboards are very good, but the problem is the CPUs and as long as Intel doesn't feel like allowing OC it doesn't matter if the motherboards are very good, in the end it will be the CPU temperature that limits OC a lot, as long as Intel doesn't do things right it doesn't matter if the motherboards come well equipped with options in the bios or UEFI.

    @sycopata:

    Hello, I don't know if anyone has asked this before, but I don't understand why all the motherboards for Intel 1150 chips incorporate a graphics card, considering that Intel 1150 Haswell chips already incorporate a graphics card, and that most likely anyone who builds a desktop PC will buy a PCI-E graphics card, which is why they put these PCI-E 3.0 16x slots on these boards.
    I can understand that an 1150 processor, being an APU, has integrated graphics, after all it can be installed in many more places that are not desktop PCs, what I don't understand is why 1150 motherboards incorporate this integrated graphics card, in my opinion it's a waste of money.

    Can someone explain this to me, I'm probably being ignorant.

    The boards do not incorporate graphics, they have the connections, either DVI or HDMI, but the graphics are inside the processors, so you won't have problems to put the graphics card you want Pcie.

    If you don't put a dedicated Pcie graphics card, you can work with the CPU's one but the board doesn't have IGP, it's the CPU's one, besides that depending on the CPU you put in it could have a different IGP, more or less powerful.

    If you put a dedicated one then the dedicated one will work, but the boards only have the video connections and not all of them, it can have VGA, DVI, HDMI and even DP, but the card is not on the board it's on the CPU.

    @Javisoft:

    I'm still using my 950, it's still going strong XD, it's been overclocked and it's so happy, I'll probably switch to an x99 after seeing the problems with the x79. Regards.

    I'm still using a 920 and an R3E, but it seems to be confirmed that a new chipset will be released for IB-E, it will be the X89, they say it will be out in September and that to make it work on an X79, you'll need to flash the bios.

    But it's likely that the X89 will already have native USB 3, they'll have fixed the PCIE3 issue (although with Intel, nothing is certain), but we should be seeing X89 motherboards soon, in a few weeks, images will probably start leaking.

    That said, the best move would be to wait until the X99 and Haswel-E, plus 8 cores, although Intel might only release an 8 core processor in Extreme edition.

    Regards

    Of the ones you mention, the one with the lowest power consumption is the Asus. Here is the TDP of the AMD micros for these platforms:

    The RaspberryPi is advisable if you like to tinker. As for consumption, no x86 board can match it.

    Broadwell will be the 14nm update to Haswell and Skylake will be the next architecture so it's not that long to wait, 2 years at most. That roadmap is for the Xeons that always come out later than the desktops, so maybe 2015, of all it is very speculative because the most likely is that they are working right now on that future architecture and we will see what comes out of there; perhaps the least relevant are the "accessories". Does anyone know if the Xeon Phi are already used for something useful? it is supposed to be for sale :lol:

    As ferelxyx rightly points out, the boards are from different platforms, so trying to compare them independently would have to be in relation to their quality within their own ranges and platforms, and it doesn't make much sense.

    Visit the Complete Configurations branch to get an idea of what you want, and then ask.

    @Daniel83:

    I'm fed up already....:wall:

    This motherboard has a lot of issues with monitoring, it marks false voltages of 24v on the 12V line, if that were the case everything would be fried.

    The other day I got an alarm from the vcore 0.000, very economical, it consumes nothing.

    I've tested it with several programs all together at the same time, separately one by one, in a thousand ways. Running Linx with OC at 3.9 is like saying from home and everyone has something wrong. I think I need to take this motherboard to get it checked out because it's still under warranty

    If it marks it wrong, send it to warranty, you should look in the UEFI, the hardware monitor section and if it marks wrong I would certainly use the warranty because maybe this motherboard is defective and could possibly break down when it's out of warranty, I wouldn't wait too long, contact the one who sold it to you to process the warranty if it's still valid.

    Before that, check if there's a BIOS update

    the latest BIOS is 2003, maybe with that it will work well for you.

    What is XMP 1.3?
    Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) is a profile that will allow users to configure their speeds
    Without the need to capture each value within the BIOS manually.
    The XMP 1.3 standard offers a the ability to explore and modify DRAM timings more precisely and accurately

    @jazxz:

    Hello everyone:

    First of all, I'm somewhat new to the topic of new processors and had some doubts about it. I have the following motherboard P8B75-V from Asus and I want to enable RAM for the integrated graphics of the micro and I understand that the new system used by these micros is DVMT, which dynamically assigns RAM as needed by the program's requirement. I have the option in the bios iGPU Memory [64M]

    The issue is that I don't know what value to assign, the value that it defaults to, which is 64, is the maximum that the integrated can reach? I honestly don't know. I've set it to [512] in this section but I'm not sure if it's correct.

    My idea is to use lucidvirtual MVP with the integrated graphics. For the moment, I have D-mode, which uses the non-integrated graphics. That is, I'm using an ATI 5870 HD graphics card.

    System specifications:

    Processor: Intel i7 3770 K

    Motherboard: P8B75-V

    RAM = 8 GB PNY.

    HD: SSD 180 Gb

    Greetings to all.

    From what I understand, the main idea of MVP is to use the CPU's iGPU as a screen output manager, basically a VGA framebuffer and little more, while the dedicated one is focused on rendering as fast as it can.

    As such, the iGPU will barely need RAM to function correctly, it could perfectly work with that 64 MB value you set, but if you have doubts, increase it to 128 MB or at most, excessively, to 256 MB, and with this it should work perfectly well with that combination of graphics managed by lucidlogix technology.

    However, as I see that this is not very popular, it may not be ideal in some cases, since certainly since it came out it has had everything but massive adoption, maybe due to problems in some cases. If you see anomalies in how it works and it doesn't fix by tweaking the memory, it's better to disable the lucidlogix technology than anything else. A warning just in case.

    Another advantage of this technology is that it allows the use of the dedicated hardware of the intel gpu for video compression, a hardware that seems to be very fast, another thing you can do with this software you mentioned, use intel video compression and continue using the 3D graphics simultaneously for powerful things.
