That graphics card should work on that motherboard, try removing the graphics card and cleaning the connector with a rubber, before that go into the motherboard's bios and set everything to default or remove the battery for a few seconds and connect the graphics card if it's still the same it's possible that the graphics card has some defect, you would have to use the warranty if it's still valid.

In that computer you don't want to change the CPU or anything, if you don't want it for gaming the best thing is to hold on to it and later upgrade to a newer one, it's always better to buy by components and build your own.

LA R9 280 es una 7970 Ghz Edition con algunas mejoras, y un precio más interesante. Es una pena que las auténticas mejoras en esta nueva gama, se limiten a la R7 260 y las R9 290 de momento <:( . Quizá en una segunda revisión ya tengamos la gama entera renovada, gracias a los ensambladores. Salu2!

Well, it seems like a big mess to me. For example, I use the HDMI audio output of my GT430 so I can have it connected to the TV and watch movies and series in full screen.
Previously, I had the bad luck of having an HD5450, with the misfortune that it could not output audio, unlike other similar HDs that could.

But anyway, taking this into account, I will be careful to look for a similar graphics card for such purposes, because they complicate your life unnecessarily.

That which you comment on was relatively common in low-end cards with VGA output although I hadn't seen it for quite some time.

I can't think of anything special except that you lower the refresh rate to the lowest possible.

Have you looked into the drivers issue and any BIOS resets? Just trying things out…

Lately I've been very reluctant to buy hardware, Intel does whatever it wants, AMD doesn't release a good platform and doesn't compete against Intel, something similar happens with graphics cards and they split the pie, AMD releases and months later Nvidia releases, then Nvidia gets ahead and now months later AMD releases, so they don't compete and set the price they want.

That's why I don't even feel like changing, I'm also not willing to pay the prices that are being seen in both graphics and CPUs or motherboards, for them to be limited for OC, or with bad thermal paste instead of soldering the IHS, anyway let's see if AMD and Nvidia finally compete once and for all because otherwise I see it going badly.

I have talked to a computer technician and he told me that when I connect the TV with VGA, it only lets me set one resolution and the computer has a different resolution, so if it had an HDMI connector, I wouldn't have problems that I can't set one resolution for the TV and another for the computer, anyway thanks and goodbye.
