El disipador es de un estilo parecido a este y el ventilador se ve que concentra el aire justo donde debe,por eso quizá no disipe tan mal y no se necesite muchas revoluciones.

el video muestra que a 3600 rev no suena demasiado y posiblemente no necesite tantas,pero demuestra que concentra el aire alrededor justo para disipar la zona del disipador, hay una 670 de pcb corto y tampoco es caliente ni ruidosa y su disipador no parece nada del otro mundo.

no creo que la parte que disipa sea mucho mejor que esa pequeña.

Ademas esa pequeña tiene una cámara de vapor para disipar por lo que creo que disipara bien.

It is likely that either the graphics card was causing problems when you reassembled it (perhaps inaccurately) or during disassembly and cleaning, the bios may have reset for some reason (battery removed or slightly worn out, pressing the start button empty without power...)
The fact is that when the reboots started, the boot probably got messed up, which is why the recovery disk must have solved the problem.

Well in the end I mixed the thermal paste and a very small drop of superglue and the truth is that it stuck pretty well, and it holds perfectly. I already installed the fan and it works wonderfully. I did a test with the furmark to put it at maximum speed and before it reached 75º at maximum and 45º at rest and now with the new fan at maximum it reaches 48-50º and 34-36º at rest so great!

@wwwendigo: Bueno, en realidad no está basado en el FXAA el SMAA, como que es anterior a la primera implementación de FXAA (también tiene varias versiones ya el SMAA). De hecho es la primera técnica de postproceso que imita el AA de las vistas de momento, de la misma forma que el MLAA de AMD es anterior al FXAA de nvidia, pero se ha quedado en la inopia y ahora mismo o se usa FXAA o SMAA, con sus distintas versiones más capaces pero también más tragonas. Creo que fue en títulos como God of War 3 de la PS3 donde se usó entre las primeras veces el SMAA usando para el postproceso a los PSUs del CELL. Me expliqué mal, me refería a que usaba el mismo inyector de código en la versión que enlazaba.

@Bm4n: Seguro que la siguiente generación rendirá mas, siempre sacan algún mastodonte para dar la publicidad. Pero me parece mas interesante lo que comentas de la optimización, el problema de todas estas "novedades" dependiendo del éxito que tenga (o de si los motores gráficos se optimizan para ello) seguirán o no y por desgracia no se suelen aprovechar hasta generaciones posteriores. Y no se hasta que punto lo que comentas sería como poner a un pura sangre a tirar de un arado, parece que nvidia decidió sacar un procesador de su gama profesional para juegos y eso no tiene porque ser una idea fantástica porque sí, solamente que el rendimiento/precio se dispare tanto ya deja que pensar sobre todo porque estamos hablando del hardware que más rápidamente se devalúa. A mi personalmente son estas las tarjetas que mas me gustan,parecen tractores y la 480 o 580 ya eran una idea similar solo que con los antiguos SP,han sido y siguen siendo tarjetas bastante buenas para jugar,aunque quiza podian haber rendido mas si no tuvieran para GPGPU,lo que si es verdad es que la 480 es la tarjeta que mejor a movido un API nuevo,DX11 me refiero,yo recuerdo las 8800 Ultra atragantarse con Dx10 y las 480 no solo lo movian bien al salir sino que hoy dia se siguen defendiendo muy bien. Yo creo que con Titan ocurrira parecido,aunque a ver como influye la nueva generacion de consolas. saludos

Well I've kept on trying things, I've manually deleted the directx files and reinstalled, I've lowered the graphics card frequencies again and it still crashes when entering the game, with Hitman Absolution and Battlefield 3 which are the two I'm using to check, in COD Black Ops II single player mode with everything maxed out it takes a while but it crashes too.
I've run the BurnInTest from FurMark again at MSAA8x 1680x1050 and with PostFX, I left it for 10 minutes and temperatures were normal and no crashes, I've run the Heaven Benchmark 4.0 several times and in several ways in Directx11 in Extreme and it never crashes.
This is a real headache, the screen goes black and the sound loops, there's no way, it seems like it's an instability error due to overclocking or something like that but it's impossible I don't have anything like that set up and the bios is more than checked…. please help...

Exactly, as compañero fjavi says, you can do SLI with two graphics cards of the same model, it doesn't matter the brand and even the speeds since by default it will take the one that goes to a lower frequency, but SLI will work well, you can use the EVGA Precission or the MSI Afterburner and tell it to sync them or to the speed of the slowest or to the fastest, there is no problem, in my case I have an SLI of GTX480 and one has OC from home (the EVGA SuperClocked) and the other doesn't (the Inno3D) and with the afterburner I have them synchronized so that both go at the speed of the fastest.
I would use the option to do it by software and this way you save yourself the trouble of flashing the graphics card, with the consequent risk.

They are pretty good temperatures, the memory I think should not look like this frequency although I also do not think they are 8000 mhz, you should put the GPU-Z to see at what frequency the memories are, because I think they should be lower in frequency, possibly if you have them so high that's why they heat up more than the GPU itself.

Nothing, man, as soon as you said about ATI+ HDMI = pink screen, I remembered all the forums I had read over the weekend about my problem, and that was the most typical one, the one about the pixel mode 4:4:4 in the Catalyst.
I'm glad you solved it, and about the player I don't know what to say, it will not get along with the driver or something like that… The truth is it's annoying when you've been using the same player for years and because of some nonsense like this you have to change it...
